No, he is looking for an actual person. We have examples of real named persons being saved. There are no named persons who were saved being said to have then become unsaved.
true, so whatever those verses those holding to that cite, CANNOT mean that!
you are using eisegesis instead of exegesis.
The Bible specifically speaks of those who "Stand only by their faith" being told to "Fear - for if He did not spare them neither will He spare you" Romans 11.
And in Gal 5:4 "YOU have been severed from Christ, you have fallen from Grace"
Your argument that we can ignore this text because Paul did not give a name in each of these cases is circular reasoning to avoid the text.
As we see in the command of Matt 22 to "Love your neighbor" no "specific name" is given.
And if the Romans 11 or Gal 5 text had said "just Sally Smith is fallen" then the argument "this only applies to Sally Smith" would abound.
Better to simply accept the text rather than try to find a way around it.

Bob
It is IMPOSSIBLE to forfeit eternal life. If you had it on Monday and lost it on Friday, it was NOT ETERNAL! <roll eyes>
