Gen 3:1-6 tells us about Eves metting with the Devil. Of course, we all know that Eve fell to tempation by eating the apple.

My question is: Where was Adam during this exchange?

Good old Eve. Always metting where she shouldn't be.

Gen 3:6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

    He was right there. :)

But was Adam there the entire time the Devil was tempting Eve?

Yep, Adam was there with Eve. Oh, and the Word of God does not say it was an apple, so we cannot make it such.

NOT with Eve. The serpent never spoke to Adam -- Adam never answered the serpent's false accusations -- Paul said Eve was tempted, not Adam -- if the serpent HAD addressed Adam, we wouldn't be fallen!

In fact, the Bible is silent on whether the serpent made the same offer to Adam pre-Eve so we make only make an ASSUMPTION that Adam independently arrived at his decision as "federal head" for mankind.
