The folks at Jack-in-the-Box don't know your name, where you live, where you bank, how much you make, what you paid for your house (or how much rent)...

No, but if I use my debit card, they'll know if I like fries with my burgers.

The technology is already in place in Canada. When you go in the toll road, they send you a bill later, months later, billing you for the use of the road. It simply pictures your license and they know who you are. That is why you need to comb your hair and make sure your makeup in place, because you never know when your picture will be taken. :D

Wanna bet? I can give you a phone number for an agency in California that supplies private investigators with personal information. It will kick out at least 30 or 35 pages on you, including you bank accounts, SSN, aliases, past employement, past addresses, phone numbers (unlisted or otherwise), cell-phone numbers, neighbors names, relatives living in your area. etc. etc. Of course, you have to have a valid PI license to obtain this info, but it is available to retail companies to flesh out their marketing customer base.

For example, if you ever called and ordered a pizza using an unlisted or cell-phone number, that number has been sold to one of those intel agencies.

There was a marketing agency that sent coupons to a guy who was in the witness protection program once.

    No one calls Jack-in-the-Box

But, yeah, that's why when a store asks for my phone number I politely refuse. Some phones have info-blocking on them so the receiver isn't given the number. My brother's phone blocks calls with id-block - we use calling cards for long-distance, so sometimes it can be difficult to get hold of him.

Most pizza parlors & Chinese food places will not deliver to an unverifiable number-address because of bogus orders and muggings.

Do not need to call Jack in the Box, I can see the video feed from my car when I sit in the drive thru. It takes video of the front and back of the car, plus the driver. If they want to know who you are, it isnt hard to find out.

You do not need to worry about Jack in the Box. However, if you ever visit an emergency room or get admitted to the hospital, there is a great chance that all of your medical records (including things like your Social Security Number) are being transcribed in India, Pakistan, or the Philippines and the information about you is being data mined. In other words, all the bunk you hear about patient confidentiality is just bunk and your Congress has failed, once again, to protect your identity and personal information from going to foreign countries.

Think about that for awhile and see how happy it makes you.

    For example:

Beautiful, and when under God's control and will, worryless. :D

Guess that doesn't do much to feed message board paranoia, eh? [IMG]
