OK, OK.....I said that I wasn't coming back until after the election. But technically voting stops in about 5-10 minutes. LOL!

I just knew my Baptistboard friends would have something to say about how things are going tonight.

Anyone a nervous wreck? Calm as a cucumber? Mad as a hatter? Watching the gameshow channel?

Anyone going to stay up all night? In 2016, I stayed up for the whole thing and watched the acceptance speech at 3:00 in the morning.

I must say ..... I'm fairly calm, but anxious to see the final results which I don't think we will see tonight.

This is a much, much closer election than I figured. Probably comes down to a handful of states that are too close to call.

CNN says lots of votes still being counted. Worse yet, some of these states accept votes postmarked by election day for like ten more days.

At some point things will break Biden or break Trump.

Anyone a nervous wreck?
Yes. Hitting the gym for a late workout to deal with the stress of AZ going to Biden and Kelly. The whole is too close for my taste and really don't like idea of waiting for the mail-in ballot scam to get its chance. UGH!

We'll have to wait till tomorrow. Georgia stopped counting, and starts up again tomorrow at 8 AM. I take it others will follow suit.

-Edit-

Is it me, or is anyone else surprised there is not a blue wave or red wave this election?

I was watching the Senate races and saw mostly an INCUMBENT wave.
It seems nobody is changing their minds about anything ... so a 50/50 election with the winner being decided by how the Electoral votes break sounds about right.

Not surprised, but disappointed. I had hoped for a decisive victory, one way or another.

Interesting that it looks likely that repubs pick up seats in the house, hang on to the Senate but may lose POT:S. A strange outcome indeed.

peace to you

I just want it to be over ... no more phone calls, no more TV advertisements, no more pollsters, no more News reports ... I just want to know who won the election so life can go on.
Until then I have Christmas Movies on the Hallmark Channel where there is no talk about POLITICS. :)

I don't think so.
Urban areas report first and skew Democrat, so typically BLUE takes an early lead in a state and either keeps it or is overtaken by RED. The states too close to call suggest the POT:S still has a very good chance to pass 270 electoral votes and a chance at as many as 299 votes (if I added correctly).

I think a Trump re-election is "more likely than not" and an electoral "landslide" is still possible.

What is happening is exactly as President Trump (and myself) predicted.

Democrats plan to steal the election is working to perfection.

I had to go on to bed at about midnight....it seemed nothing would change after that. I checked on my cell phone a couple of times in the wee hours.

How long do you all think it will be before they call the rest?

POT:S is losing in Michigan and Wisconsin. He can’t win if he loses those states.

Bid:n will be clear winner within a day or so.

GA, NC, PA, AK (Trump is leading in all) & NV (Biden leading by <8000 votes with 575,000 votes left to count) places Trump at 273 without MI and WI. If Trump wins MI & WI we could be looking at a 299 vote Trump victory. The lead is less than 1% and shrinking. It is still a horse race in MI & WI.

I agree it is possible, just not likely imo.

BTW, Biden said Trump wasn’t going to steal this election. But like a true Dem, he didn’t finish his statement.

The full statement goes like this: “Trump isn’t going to steal this election, the Dems are.”

There is a lot of funny business going on with remaining states. I cry foul.

Over 100k votes found in MI and not a single one for Trump?
