very difficult question - let's see, someone who doesn't believe in natural rights or some Christian that follows the leftist line?

Probably the liberal Christian, I think I understand them a lot better. But I don't know - here and in every other place, the Christian left have go silent on the SCOTUS issue, although they swear that they dissent from the party they support on that one issue. You'd think they would be happy about it and say so.

Which one has the best and most disciplined set of ethics and values?
I have met both liberal and conservative Christians whose ethics and values were nearly non-existent so that pagans were better examples to the community.

I recognize that this government (USA) is entirely secular and therefore voting for anyone is looking for the lesser of two evils.

Truth, Ben Sasse is the only Christian I openly endorse.

Donald Trump is currently supporting the Nebraska governor who has six different sexual misconduct allegations while hating on Sasse. Trump shows me he cares nothing about Christian ethics and values in who he supports.

To topic, which of the two has the highest ethic and values?

Liberal Christian or Conservative Atheist: How Would You Vote?

Please read the article and discuss.

AND PLEASE keep your comments to the subject of the article.
Read the article. It’s hypothetical from the view point of an atheist. He would vote for liberal Christian because they are in line with his political views, which I found to be good discernment.

Since this from a political standpoint, I would vote for the conservative atheist because they more in line with my political views.

That said, when I changed my position in the death penalty (I don’t believe Christians should support it) I was immediately declared to be a “liberal sissy”.

peace to you

Is he the one to follow the constitution or is he the leftest Christian? Or maybe both?

peace to you
Look at his voting record in the Senate. He is one of the most conservative Senators in his vote. He is a true Constitutionalist who knows the Constitution much better that the faux conservative, Donald Trump. Sasse is also a Godward Christian who is prayerful and a true family man. Before agreeing to run for a second term as a Senator, he and his family took 2 weeks to pray and seek God's direction. God blessed him and Sasse won with over 60% of the vote.

He was a liberal, not a leftist. Having been in his S.S. a few times, the Christian part is definitely questionable. He elevates Social constructs high above The Gospel.

I always questioned his true relation with Christ simply because his policies, to me anyway, seemed contrary to HIS principles.

I do understand you support him and that’s fine. I was just attempting a little joke which fell flat.

Democrats have the freedom of religion, too. And considering that he help broker the treaty between Israel & Egypt, which has not been broken so far, says a lot.

Not arguing that - but Carter does have liberal views - religion and political.
