We are teaching our elders-in-training with weekly studies and will start Desiring God in the spring.

Never read ANY book or article by Piper that I disliked.

I haven't read Desiring God yet, but it does look very good. I am currently reading Future Grace and the next one will be Don't Waste Your Life.

I am reading, Let the Nations Be Glad! and it is really good! Probably one of the best books on missions I have ever read.

    Hey guys,

I go to Pipers church and have read ALL of his books.... Alittle biased here but He is amazing.

Let the Nations Be Glad... awesome for missionaries

Desiring God ... great for understanding Piper's definition of Christian Hedonism... (changed my life)

    Future Grace... AWESOME

For theology "The Justification of God" is a fortress of truth. Brilliant!

"Don't Waste Your Life" has had a big impact on me. As did "Let the Nations Be Glad."

Most recently I read "When I don't Desire God" and that is fantastic.

Look for a "Change" in the songs by Steven Curtis Chapmen also... He read Don't Waste Your Life and flew to Mpls to talk to John... it really impacted him and said it will change His thoughts in his song writing also....
