Let me re-phrase this: Who Do You Believe "I" Should Support In '08 (I would assume this is the candidate you are supporting, so the title still fits).

    Fill out the poll....

Then tell "me" why I should support your candidate.

Keep in mind I am leaning towards not voting in '08.

    poll's missing...

    eta: well, it was

The poll only allows one choice - it seems a little soon to be narrowing it down.

--Is he pro-life? Does he support "gay" marriage (which does not exist but some wish to pretend it does)?

I don't know; I suspect he is pro-choice and supports the idea that people shouldn't be unfairly taxed just because they are gay.

==If he is pro-choice than he will not have my support. Based on what I have read I think he is personally pro-life but he governs from a pro-choice position. To me, that seems like somewhat of a contradiction. As for gays, I don't see how they are taxed any differently than those of us who are single. Gays should have the same rights as any single person. There is no such thing as gay marriage and there never will be (no matter what human governments say).

==That may very well be what I end up doing...or another third party. However if a libertarian candidate claims that he/she will govern from a pro-choice position, I cannot support them.

Whichever third party candidate will do the best for America. It sure will not be the nominee of either major party.

Whoever takes on the immigration issue will likely have a big chip in the game. Thus, I would ask where's Tancredo on your poll?

Bayh isn't a bad choice. Rudy isn't awful, either. McCain isn't bad but his pathetic campaign "reform" measures make me wonder. I like Edwards but can't get past his "ambulance chaser" rep.

I sure hope we have more choices than this

You didn't have Tom Tancredo on there, so I chose Newt.

My bumper sticker tells me to vote for Tom Tancredo.

I chose Newt Gingrich since Tom is not listed.
