I was just wondering which of the following four would you consider to be your favorite youth of the Old Testament. We all have probably read of their example in their youth in the Bible, which is your favorite?
May be because of their example or maybe you have another reason. Feel free to give your reason. I know this is not all of the youth of the OT, sorry if your favorite is not on here.

LOL, well I couldn't chose two, so I picked David. (I also wanted to chose Daniel)
I guess I've got a few reasons for liking him.
The first one is because even though he was young, he was willing to go, and not in man's strength, but in God's. Also his kindness to Saul and Mephebisheth (lol check me on the spelling to that!) when people could have justified him for acting otherwise.
And even though David sinned, God forgave him. (That's not to say he didn't have repracusions from it.)
God called David a man after His own heart. Even though David wasn't perfect, in his heart he truely loved his Lord.
I think he's a great examle to learn from.

Maybe, I should have made it possible to pick more than one. I like Samuel and David the most.

Samuel because God spoke to him when Samuel was a child, and because Samuel served God all the days of his life. He is my favorite judge, and he is a real man of God.
I like David because God used him to write Psalm 23 along with many of the other Psalms. I like him because he fought and won many victories. I like him because he was a great type of Christ.

Daniel, but not just because I am his namesake. I like his principled stand from the get-go. He could have opted for the easy life, but instead chose the right way. His longevity through four administrations shows that a good youth foundation sets someone up for a very long, prosperous life, a la God's command with a promise! Cool java!

I have a namesake. Anyways, My favorite was not there. My favorite youth in the bible is Joshua(ok so maybe he is not technically a youth).

Kayla,

He was a youth at one time. He served under Moses, he might have been considered a youth then. I dont know.

Ah. This is a ways off for me, I hope. But I am going to name one of my children Samuel, and my middle name is David. I could use the rest of those names on another possible son, Josiah Daniel. I also have brother named Jushua.

Well another name I would use would be John William because it is a family name. It was my grandfather's and is currently my uncle's name. (My grandfather is deceased).
