Whose Kids Are in Iraq?

I am not a particular fan of Rush but he made the case.

I write as one who served during the Korean Police Action, whose father served in WWI, whose five older brothers served in WWII in which one was killed. Only my baby brother, my sister, and my mother did not serve in the military during time of war.

Those young men and women in Iraq all volunteered. [I wish there were no women in harms way.] I am so proud of what these young men and women are doing and my heart breaks each time I hear of the death of one. The amazing thing is that so many are willing to go back.

I believe that the radical left in this country are so overwhelmed with either self loathing or such hatred of this country that they will go to any extreme to see it fail in whatever it attempts.

 

One thing is for sure Rush is a big fat-cat chickenhawk who either had a cyst of was sitting
on one of his oxycontin tablets.

Amen, Rush! You know, there's a reason the liberals hate him so--Rush is right. Again. And it gives them fits. I'm very sorry for Cindy Sheehan's loss, and I'm sorry that America has lost one of her best who was fighting for her. Liberals out there, take note--these folks volunteered for this. And for that we should be proud of them, and grieve for their loss, not shame it by spitting on the cause they were fighting for.

 

ASLANPAL, what happened to "appropriate language". Or, is this a liberal's idea of what is appropriate? Your snide comments are made even more strange when one considers that yoiu admit to being from the state that brought us the only president to say "I loath the military".

was a draft dodger as well. imho

Listen to this audio clip Nationally syndicated radio host Rush Limbaugh equated the actions of Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a soldier killed in Iraq, with those of Bill Burkett, the retired Texas Air National Guard officer who provided CBS' 60 Minutes with unauthenticated documents regarding President Bush's National Guard record. Sheehan is currently staging an anti-war protest outside Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas. Limbaugh said that Sheehan's "story is nothing more than forged documents."

Sheehan's "story" is, in fact, that her son died while fighting in Iraq. A Humvee mechanic, Spc. Casey Sheehan was one of seven U.S. soldiers killed in Baghdad's Sadr City on April 4, 2004, by rocket-propelled grenades and small arms fire.

LIMBAUGH: I mean, Cindy Sheehan is just Bill Burkett. Her story is nothing more than forged documents. There's nothing about it that's real, including the mainstream media's glomming onto it. It's not real. It's nothing more than an attempt. It's the latest effort made by the coordinated left.

My comment: Limbaugh went bizzaro the other day
and so he had to compensate with his puffed out
pontificating for those who put him as an Idol.
He is a major money raker and he knows how to
"sucker born every minute" P.T. Barnum people.imho

I get the rare pleasure of listening to Rush, but when I heard he had this on his site I went and watched it a few times. Excellent Job Rush. Excellent Job.
