I was in a church with a man who worked for Kellogg's in Battle Creek, and his Christian co-worker had decided to only use verses from the Bible to speak. It got him in huge trouble many times, but he continued it.

One story involved a Union meeting where a question arose, he stood, quoted a bible verse, and what they interpreted it as was " You are all fools." He got berated by hundreds of men, and it made the gospel and Christians look like idiots.

The subject was the one who had spoke was afraid.

 

Most of those first quotes in the article are just plagiarisms, or paraphrases of others gone before. Here are some examples to reference (hint: they’re also from the Bible), but doubtless you can find others.
