Why Brazil's Noble Efforts in World War 2 Shouldn't be Forgotten

I wonder what Brazilian vets thought about their flow of "refugees".

Wasn't a NAZI spy ring exposed in Brazil during WWII by the women who smashed codes? I think the idea was to overthrown the anti-nazi government and establish a base for German infiltration to travel north until the USA was reached...

 

It appears to me that the Brazilian government, or some of it's members, before, during and after the war did not think the sacrifice of their boys was worth much, even though the Germans sank many of their ships and they worked with the Allies.
Some of them with connections sold out to and invited the Nazis not only to search out places to colonize before the war but provided home sweet refuges for Nazi war criminals after.
