Partial Agreement, they are still asleep at the helm IMO. BTW, I am not a Republican but a pro-life small "i" independent (formerly a JFK Democrat).

And they STILL work to block our president. And they are STILL unpopular. It’s a real testament to Trump how he has managed to improve the lives of Joe America with such a hostile, petulant bunch throwing a tantrum everyday.

that governor in Az, Ducey,, should have pressured McCain to resign months ago - he can't do his job.

at least they will be relieved of that Flake soon. "Worst Congresses in history", well, they did vote to seat Sotomayor and Kagan rather than block them, so there's that.

Running against Trump, railing against the 2A, sympathizing with MS-13, rooting for NK and Iran's nukes, putting illegal aliens first, there's the ticket.

Umm, you do know that one article is from 2017 and the other goes back to 2014???

There are 35 seats up this year. It is likely that it will remain Republican, but that is no sure thing. However, all they have to do is get to 50 senators, with Pence being the tie-breaker. It all comes down to seven states -- AZ, FL, IN, MO, ND, NV and WV. The Dems would have to win all 7 to get to 51 seats. Not likely, but not impossible.

With every seat up for grabs every two years, the House situation is a lot more fluid. Each side is about equal with the number of projected sure-things, with only about 65 true competitive races. In my own district, the Republican is retiring. Most likely, we'll get a Democrat replacement. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if the Dems end up taking back the House.

The bigger factor is NOT the demographics but the NEGATIVE campaign waged against Teflon Don whose base only increases as he is pummeled with fake news and insults real or imagined.

Every Democratic fantasy against the folk hero president Trump has been dashed from day 1.

Remember when half a dozen talking heads laughed him to scorn as he announced that he was entering the presidential race?

Right, for the Ds to have any chance, they're going to have to run an issue-based campaign with a unifying national theme, and I don't see them doing that right now. There's actually about only 30 or so seats that are toss ups in the House, ten of them need to flip for a D majority. Doesn't look likely considering the districts in question, but it's still June yet the economy is strong and will stay strong.

Now the Senate - AZ, FL, IN, MO, ND, NV and WV, you say? Well, take them one by one - Arizona, who's going to win the R primary? All three could beat that bi chick IMO, McSally would win easily. Florida, well, Nelson's tough as can be but Scott is formidable - still, bet that holds D. IN - Donnely is in much more trouble than Nelson is in FL, this one could flip R. MO, Claire is in even worse trouble than the aforementioned, Hawley has less money than her but that probably won't matter. ND, Heitkamp hasn't gone gun control, the R isn't so bad himself yet Trump praised the D and she's running ads touting, lol, who knows? NV, Heller was anti-Trump and barely won last up, depends. WV, you hear Manchin is in trouble every time yet he pulls through. Then there's a couple of D seats that could turn - the "upsets" this year - not Tim Kaine (I wish) but Sherrod Brown.
