Why do most men prefer blonde women?

I have been married to a blonde, a brunette, a redhead, a woman with curly platinum hair and one with straight auburn. My preference? That madre would stay out of the hair color aisle at Walmart. I like her just the way she was meant to be. Problem is, I cannot, for the life of me, remember what her natural hair color is.....

1. Blonde people do NOT represent advancement! We are minus melanin -- we've LOST something!

2. If men prefer blondes it's because they are too nervous about the other ladies. Platinum blondes, especially, have that Marilyn Monroe/Anna Nicole image to live down!

3. Therefore, I would say that men who prefer blondes simply as a preference, without thinking about anything other than hair color, are men who are looking for easy, brainless ladies and that would NOT be the kind of man THIS blonde would be interested in!

I think it is more likely that the desire for blonde is that it was exotic. My mom lived in Turkey, where blondes are extremely rare, when she was ~14 and quite blonde. She can recall people just coming up and touching her to see if she was for real, in addition she can recall a few men trying to arrange for her to be their wife with her dad, thankfully unsuccessfully.
