Here is Hebrews 2:7-9
"You made him a little lower than the angels. You crowned him with glory and honor. You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t see all things subjected to him, yet. But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone"
In verse 9, it should read, "But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels", showing that Jesus Christ was for a limited duration, during His time on earth, even "lower" than the created angels. It goes on to tell us why, "because of the suffering of death", angels do not die, whereas Jesus went to the cross to die for the human race.
Man, we are told, will "judge angels" (1 Corinthians 6:3) in the next life, whatever this means, I don't know. Also, we are told that the Death of Jesus Christ was for the human race, and not angels, "For most certainly, he doesn’t give help to angels, but he gives help to the offspring of Abraham" (Hebrews 2:16)
