Many have credited the leadership of W for no attacks in the US since 11 Sep.

I heard a theory the other day. It stated that if the terrorist were to attacked in the US again, it would put the country solidly behind Bush.

    Thoughts?

I think we have foiled a few attempted attacks since 911 so they are still trying.
I think if we are attacked again then Muslims in America are going to be in trouble by the citizens of America, especially if the Muslim population continues to turn a blind eye to what the more radical Muslims are doing.

Bush will be blamed if we suffer another attack and given no credit if we don't.

    An astute observation.

The liberal agenda demanded support for G W Bush before we went into iraq . . . then they have spent all the time since blaming him. Now they are campaigning for us (USA) to invade iran . . . so that they can complain more.

Of course we have been terrorized since 9/11

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_anthrax_attacks

Why do the right wing bush enablers continue to pose misinformation ..there is a killer on the lose...one that struck here in the states and one at the heart of our Government.

bush does not give a flip about the Anthrax killer and has shown it but yet his administration and right wing noise machine seem to brag about how we have not been hit....well that is a lie we were hit and shut down our government because of it ...that is terror and the terror continues because the Anthrax killer has not been found or caught.

so please quit being dis ingenious but I expect spin such as..."oh it was not a major hit" yeah people dead in our government post offices and the Senate under terror.

Oh ..how we soon forget and try to continue to enable an incompetent poor performer in the white house.

Sounds like he is just a little (very little) mad that the enemy has not killed anyone lately . . .

A-Pal does have a point. I'm tired of our government lying (spinning the truth) to the American people.

there is no need to attack

There is no need to attack because we are still living in fear of another attack. We are spending billions and are bankrupting ourselves and eliminating civil rights. There is no need to attack as long as we have a dept of homeland security.

Our enemy is real and seeks our destruction. Praise God we have not been hit and yes credit should be given to George W. Bush and the numerous agencies that protect us daily whose diligent work goes unnoticed. Regardless of those who undermine their ability they still have been successful in protecting the American people.

Oh how soon we forget that there are three branches in Gov't and that GWB cannot make any decisions on his own....

How many here would agree to a pre emptive attack on Iran or Syria "absent some catastrophic catalyzing event”? Just curious.

    Yeah that's Cheney's job!

When we are attacked again, it will probably be on a grand scale and life as we have known it will cease to be. The Constitution will be null and void, we will be under Martial Law, and yet, no amount of "Homeland Security" or FEMA or National Guard or local law enforcement will be able to stop what happens in the streets of America, in your neighborhood and mine.

The islamofascists who want to do us in, REALLY want to do us in. They are not just rattling their swords or beating their chests to hear their own voices in the wind. They believe they will bring about a total global islamic world and they are preparing for that day by planting their islamofascist communities in our cities and in our heartland and rural communities, inside our military, at our liberal colleges and universities, in our hospitals and health centers, all with the intent to one day do us in. They do intend to destroy the little satan and the great satan. And it won't matter who is sitting in the Oval Office.

Good thing we got all these neocons busy running around throwing gasoline on the fire then. Them Islamofascists can't get to riled up for them. I hope our own demacrofascists can wipe them all out before they (islamofascists and demacrofascists) kill us all. Wait a minute...if I'm dead I can finally go home!

Stranger walks into a tav wearing a big feathered thing around his neck. The barkeep asks why? The stranger says it keeps the bears away. The barkeep says, There are no bears around here." Stranger replies, "See, it works!"

The problem is not bears in the woods, but terrorists at war with the USA and our way of life.

Bears actually have a naturally fear of us . . .

. . . come to think of it, so do terrorists - that is why they are so difficult to find.

That and our liberal news reporters keep telling the terrorists 'how' we are finding them. So each time that we find a major target, we have to develop a new method for the next target.

Send the "liberal news reporters" with one way tickets to interview osama and they cannot come back until the have 100 hours of interviews. . .

It doesn't matter what you say to the liberal left, to them it will alway be George Bush's fault. Their main problem is putting responsibility on the party actually responsible. If we did nothing and Saddam fronted millions to pay for yet another Muslim attack on the US then it would also be GW's fault for not doing something. Then if we did something even after that, it would be too costly, not diplomatic enough, not something that they could blame. It would never be Al Qeada's fault. They have grown up in a society that shuns personal responsibility for everything. They go to their therapist who tell them that all their problems are from their parents or their teachers or their pastors. Their actions have nothing to do with who they are, hence you now have a society that places blame not on those responsible but on those that they are able to openly vent too.
