    …come here to hear the Gospel?
    How would they find us?

    Would they not prefer a friend, a local church? Radio or TV?

    What do others think?

    God Holy Spirit makes it happen to every single person He desires to be saved.

    The Person (God Holy Spirit) that causes everything to come together so that someone will hear the gospel is all that really matters.

    That would be everyone, for He desires all to be saved, but that doesn’t mean any individual at all would show up here to be saved.

    Anyway, they would probably be told if God chose them from eternity past it would happen, and if not, too bad.

    But of course what I was asking was opinions of the likelihood that lost seekers should show up here, especially in large numbers.

    I Apologize. I misunderstood the OP.

    What are the chances of a lost person being on the BB?

    I think there are some on the BB that believe many, maybe most, that post here are lost, though the rules prohibit saying so directly.

    I can’t remember anyone ever coming in the BB and stating they knew they were lost and were seeking salvation….?????

    Maybe someone else can remember such a poster.

    There have been members professing salvation to say at a later date they were actually saved. Many grow up in church and believe they are saved only to be saved later. I even knew a pastor who was saved after he had been preaching for years. He realized he was one of those who would have heard "I never knew you".

    Now, if you mean would they be reached by this board, I seriously doubt it. But God uses many means that befuddles my mind.

    I believe the most effective way to reach the lost is to be a friend to sinners, that is, be Christ to them. This includes sharing the gospel message.
