Will the Saudis continue to fight terrorists?

You mean they have been fighting terrorists? That's strange. It is well documented they have been spreading Wahhabism (a most extreme form of islam) throughout the United States and the rest of the world by funding mosques that preach and teach it and schools that preach and teach it, also.

"Saudi security officials said Saturday they foiled a planned terrorist suicide attack and arrested 139 suspected Islamist militants who were in "sleeper cells" believed to be affiliated with al Qaeda.

A senior official in the Saudi Interior Ministry told CNN that the suspects, who are from several Arab nations, were monitored by Saudi security agents for several months. They rounded the men up just before the expected attack was launched."

Based on this fact, I would say that the Saudis are fighting terrorism currently. I would hope that this will continue. I think bin Laden would love to bring down the Saudi government.

 

Lady Eagle is absolutely correct. The money we send to them because we won't allow drillling here helps fund the terrorists and terrorist states that are trying to destroy the US.

It's Saudi vs Saudi, isn't it? There is the Saudi government, largely pro-West, which is in fear of the Wahabbi mullahs, emphatically anti-West, who may topple the ruling family. There are the Saudi princes who are either international sophisticates or decadent heretics depending on your POV. There are the Saudi masses who live under increasing restrictive mullah rules and there are the religious extremists, which include but are not limited to the Wahabbis and terrorists.

If the current Saudi government is to survive, it will continue to fight the terrorists while kowtowing to the mullahs.

 

Well, it certainly isn't the Saudi masses who are exporting the money to build the mosques and madrassas and further Wahhabism throughout the world -they certainly don't have to money to do such massive funding to the tune of billions of dollars, but the Royals do. So I have no sympathy for the Royal Family being supposedly caught in a conundrum and trying to "survive" whether they are pals with our president or not. Obviously, our president doesn't realize that in the Quran it is quite permissible to lie to infidels and the only true bond of their friendship is $$$. If the dollars would disappear, so would the friendship. A house built on sand will fail, no pun intended.
