Please indicate your vote for Trump if the election were in the next week, and he runs as GOP or third party.

The poll gives you only a yes vote for Trump and your party affiliation. It's a pretend hypothetical ballot, exit poll.

Trump is a casino owner, which is strange for a Republican. Also, he is extremely wealthy, although not really in the category of Carlos Slim or Bill Gates.

However, he continues to do well because the rest of the GOP is timid and weak.

It is so early in the season that I am not planning on making up my mind this early and I am not leaning towards Trump at all but I do not mind his being in the race. I am relying on the majority of GOP voters to make the choice because by the time it gets to Indiana next May, it will be all over. At this early stage, I am leaning towards Cruz or Walker but I like Carson and Fiorina although I am not leaning towards them.

Mr Trump is the definition of what is wrong with America.

Why on earth would we want him to lead us?

Trump is a Trojan Horse meant to destroy the GOP/Conservative party. I amazed at how many of my fellow tea partiers on facebook are buying into his shtick. His purpose is to 1. to make a lot of money, and 2. to make sure a Democrat (probably Hilary) makes it into the white house. If he runs as a third party then we will all know that 2 is absolutely true.

Out of the 17 people running on the GOP side I have 4 that I would be fine with winning and 4 people I will absolutely not vote for even thought it will mean a Democrat win and Trump is one of those 4.

Sounds like we are on the same page, but I've got six on my absolutely not list--Bush, Christie, Gilmore, Graham, Pataki, Trump.

You have my 4 on your list. I barely know who Gilmore and Pataki are so I highly doubt they will win the nomination.

I liked his immigration policy outline. I'll wait to see what else he has to offer and make my decision later. If the election were next tuesday, I'm pretty sure we'd have more info.

Just how revolutionary is Trump’s immigration plan? It looks a lot like the GOP’s.

One thing that hasn't been said, though, is that Trump's immigration plan hews pretty closely to the Republican Party's existing platform, its official plank of policy ideas. With one large exception, much of Trump's huge immigration plan should sound quite familiar.

Let's dig into the details.

As opposed the Bernie Sanders or Hillary? At least he has the guts to say what needs to be said unlike the wimps we have leading our country right now.

The GOP is the biggest bunch of capitulatin' linguini spined bootlickers there is.

I'm more ashamed of their lies and excuses than I am of Trump's self promotion, ego, and whatever else you can bring up about showing us what an awful person he is, and how when we get to the polls we'll "sober up"....

That's not going to work. It didn't work with Obama. Not working with Trump.

If you care to expound on your opinion, we would be interested in reading what you have to say.

He's a philandering serial adulterer who destroys the lives of people through the merciless pursuit of unbridled capitalism while wearing the moniker of "Christian" on his sleeve amid a life directly opposed to teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Kind of defines our nation.

I don't know what is wrong with Pataki. At this early stage of the campaign, which is way too long, the GOP field is many times better than the elderly Democrat field. The Clintons for a third term would be a disaster. Bill is a shadow of himself, jaded by the pleasures of wealth and women, and unfit to rule; his wife Hillary is too ignorant to be President--we have had 7 years of ignorance already and what has it done for us?
