It is a popular belief one can have knowledge without faith. Faith aka belief in anything is thinking a thing to be so.

If you mean that knowledge of God without faith is impossible, then I'm following what you are thinking and agree with you, but what about people who know "all about" the Bible, the history of ancient Babylon, ancient Israel etc etc, but have no faith that what they know "about" is true?

What people think they know happens to be what they believe. The belief is not what makes anything true. Ultimately all true knowledge comes from God, Proverbs 1:7, Romans 10:17-18, Psalms 19:4. Nevertheless, no one does not believe in the things they think they know. Even though many will argue that they know, so it is not faith. But nobody knows anything without believing in what they think they know, whether what is believed is actually true or not.

I absolutely agree with that. "The Bible says this". "No it doesn't, the Bible says this". "No it doesn't, it says this. Can't you read?"

Or, "The earth is round". "No it isn't, it's flat." "No it isn't....
I love the sentence in Romans 3:4 "let God be true, but every man a liar" (even though in the context of the passage and verse, Paul is not talking about what we agree on here).

So they say, If a man goes bald only on his forehead, he thinks a lot. If he goes bald only on his crown, he knows a lot. If he goes bald all the way, he thinks he knows a lot.
