A massive majority of drugs that show some effect in cell cultures do not work in animal and human trials.
That was true with chloroquine in the SARS-Cov virus and is looking to be true so far with chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine in the SARS-cov2 virus that causes covid19.
Fauci, like any good scientist is just saying what scientific data actually shows instead of what politicians want to hear which is often not in touch with reality. We all want these drugs to work but what the data actually says is not about what we want.

Far too many doctors are seeing it work. That data if far more important.
I do not trust the intentions and motives of those who are flat out saying it doesnt work.

I think that Dr. Fauci has been doing his best. He has done a good job. We were saved on this issue by French Dr. Didier Raoult, a specialist in infectous diseases. Dr. Fauci is a specialist in epidemics I think. I hope that I have all that right.
I don't trust him any further than I can throw him. He has his fingers in far too many money pies in the pharmaceutical industry.

I don't think that he is illegal. I know that he is a liberal and loves Hillary but in the medical field I think that he did everything that he could for this country and that was quite a lot. It concerns me that he is on the Gates Foundation board. Look, carpro, no one wants to work for the government. It's not a good job. I think that he went all out for every President that he ever worked for.

President Reagan was 78 years old when he left office after two terms. Joe Biden will be 78 when he takes office, should he win. There no doubt his wife is currently “running interference” for him, just look at the last few video live stream events.
If he is “slipping” now...... well, it could be significant.
I’m not yet convinced, since he has always had a “stutter” problem, but it looks bad at times.
The debates will be crucial to determine his mental state. At this point, the expectations are so low that if he shows up with a good performance, we might have another Reagan vs. Mondale moment.

Dr. Fauci started working for the federal government under President Ronald Reagan. He won the Medal of Freedom from President George W. Bush in 2008. So he has served under six US Presidents. He is what he is but he has been through the mill and he knows the ropes.
President Trump will ring circles around Mr Biden, as Trump has flaws, but debating not one of them!
