Two things immediately caught my eye....

    1. It is endorsed by Deborah Haarsma.
    2. The author is a geologist.

Implication: This book will not present a simplistic 6 day/ 24 hour creation day.
    • If you are willing to explore a variety of possible interpretations...
    • If you have more than a basic understanding of science and are confused by how it appears to contradict the Bible...
    • If you are simply curious about how some Christians can disagree with Young Earth creationism, yet still have a high view of Scripture...
Then sure, this might be an interesting place to begin a journey of exploration.

After reading the Amazon reviews, I’ve just put it on my long wish list of books to read!

Also I’d highly recommend John H. Walton’s, The Lost World of Genesis 1 and 2.

    Rob,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I have put put A Worldview Approach to Science and Scripture (Carol Hill) and several titles in The Lost World series (John Walton) on my list.

I also plan to spend some time at the BioLogos website.
