Worship Choirs

    How many churches represented here have a thriving worship choir?

    I wouldn't describe ours as thriving worship. More like striving to thrive.

    We don't have choirs other than in our Christmas musical. We instead have bands/teams.

    We have an adult choir comprised of anywhere from 20-40, depending on attendance that particular service. Our choir is not membership driven, so anyone can join in and sing with us. We also don't call ourselves a "worship choir."

    The church also has a "youth choir" made up of ages 8 to 18 or so, with the few younger kids (under age 7) having their own small group. The older members of the youth choir will sing with the adult choir as well, although anyone willing to sing is allowed to sing with the adult choir.

    We have a choir and it thrives well in our church. Never heard it called a Worship Choir.
