Oh, no!
Is this another of your preposterous postulations?
Not exactly.
It comes from watching a youtube video by Aaron of Faith to Walk Ministries
entitled, "Why I Love the Word of God."
Should I worship the Bible covers, the paper, and the ink it's printed on?
No.
Can we separate God from His Word?
Worship God.
Psalm 99:5
"Exalt ye the Lord our God,
and worship at his footstool;
for he is holy."
Worship the Word of God.
Psalm 119:47-48
"And I will delight myself in thy commandments,
which I have loved.
My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandment
which I have loved;
and I will meditate in thy statutes."
Isn't lifting up of hands a sign of worship?
Psalm 119:97
"O how I love thy law
it is my meditation all the day."
Psalm 119:140
"Thy word is very pure:
therefore thy servant loveth it."
Psalm 119:11
"Thy word have I hid in my heart,
that I might not sin against thee."
Love the Word of God = Love God
Hebrews 4:12
"the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
The Word of God is alive.
Psalm 138:2
"I will worship toward thy holy temple,
and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness
and for thy truth;
for thou hast magnified
thy word above all thy name."
