Worst place to visit for vacation

    Where is the worst place to visit for a vacation--you would say 'DON'T GO THERE'?

    As a resident of Florida who gets inundated by people from November through April ---DON'T COME TO FLORIDA!! :smilewinkgrin:

    I don't think I've ever had a bad vacation but the Grand Canyon during July was just too hot. But it was still a wonderful view of the artistry of our God.

    Don't go to Kodaik to spend a few days in the sun. (It's a great place for fishing and hunting, though...)

    I ran into someone recently who drove a taxi down in Kodiak several years ago. He and his wife came here to the Kenai Peninsula for vacation, and it rained the entire time. (It does rain a lot sometimes.) They didn't think about going fishing, which is what we're world famous for, and they were fed up with not being able to see the volcanoes, etc., so they scrapped their plans and bought tickets to go to Kodiak. After all, a place that is chock full o' grizzlies must be sunny, right? They count sunny days in the teens down there annually. He offered the taxi driver $100 if he could get them back to the airport before the next plane left.
