Would an actor be accountable to God for nudity roles?

This is another moral question that believers have to ask themselves if they are in the acting arts profession. In fact I have to ask if that person should consider leaving the profession because of the worldly material surrounding scripts and plots of television shows and movies?

Would you consider doing nude scenes, partial or full, if it meant making your living as an actor? And while we are discussing nudity in film, is it wrong for a believer to watch on screen?

I am posting this here, because of the strict rules enforced on the General Forum. I feel this is a pertinent topic that needs to be discussed by the church. Thanks!

I believe that we will be held accountable for the way we live our lives. If I were an actor I would not do nude scenes. First off, there would be no reason for it (other than comic relief). But we are responsible for our actions and will account for what we do.

Great quip about "comic relief." I laughed my head off with the thought of that. It would be the same for me, Full Monty would be Fully Funny!:laugh::laugh:

You better also ask that Christians stop watching.

Why is that even a question that needs to be asked?

Have you become selectively blind to the obvious?

Please read the OP, especially the bolded area highlighted in red. I think you missed this in your attempt to jump to conclusions, AGAIN!
