Several models I purchased new turned out to be lemons. My 67 Olds Cutlass overheated no matter how much I spent on repairs. My worst lemon by far was my 78 Chevy Malibu station wagon. Pretty on the outside, but pretty much nothing worked.
My 86 Buick was pretty good, and I even got 36 highway miles. Fuel injection really helped driveablity. Lastly my 91 Chevy PU truck went through 3 transmissions (they were heavy duty!) three AC compressors, and 3 heavy duty radiators. Did I mention it was a lemon.

Did you hear they are going to bring back the Yugo - but it will be a station wagon!

I wouldn't be ashamed if I had ever owned a Yugo. I would drive whatever it took to get me around. When I was in Miami, I needed a car and was nearly always penniless. I was introduced to a Puerto Rican gent named Ramon who had a 1975 Dodge Dart that he was selling for a hundred bucks. Ramon had picked a winning number in some street gambling, bought himself a nice car and decided he didn't need the Dart anymore.
The car was falling apart everywhere except for the motor and transmission. It had a 318 V-8 and ran like a top.
