Why cannot I be allowed to vote in this poll? Because of valid ID? I want to vote for 'I am Bible Believer, not being label position from men's teaching. How can I am able to post and vote on this poll? Thanks.

I'm assuming that when I come face-to-face with my Master that I WILL find out that I've been wrong about many things, regardless of what else I "learn" here on earth. I am not so vain or self-righteous to believe that I possess all the knowledge and wisdom that my Creator possesses. I am looking FORWARD to learning all He has to show me--now and in eternity.

 

I trust God's wisdom. I do not believe Calvinism to be correct at this time, but if after receiving full knowledge from God, I find it to be true, I will rejoice in the truth.

Of course, if Calvinism is true, then full revelation from God will eliminate all my objections to it.

By then it is too late to matter! Unless of course you are speaking of the time from physical death to judgment! But even then it is too late to matter!

I voted that if I found out I was wrong I would embrace it whole heartedly.
In fact over the years I have found things that I thought were true, that weren't true. Everytime after getting over the shock (and I'm sure most are when they find they're wrong) I embraced it and defended it. When a person is young they are most influenced by there teachers and parents. After a certain amount of maturity settles in people begin to think for themselves. then things can change. As they grow older the harder it seems to let go of what we've been taught. Keeping an honest discernment about our selves is very important in order to know the truth. I believe we have to look at everything carefully to keep from being deceived. Satan is proweling about seeking whom he might destroy.

I found that preconceived notions tend to rule us with out our knowing. Mostly because some of them are assumed. This is why I come here to argue it keeps me on my toes and always investigating my own beliefs. Even though it might seem I'm investigating yours.

I may have done something to it. After someone remarked on another thread that they got an invalid member cannot vote reply, I went and tried to 'back up' to see if there was a box checked that set a start time or certain viewers. When I 'went forward', it didn't show up. I thought it was a glitch but had to leave for church. Not sure what happened.

My point is -- if you were convinced-- by the highest possible authority (in my mind it would be the very Word of our Lord;since scripture doesn't mention Calvinism or Arminianism by name!)-- if you were convinced that your posiion was wrong...

I don't think we'll be doing anything but rejoicing when we get to heaven and get all straigtened out on some of the stuff we've confused about down here ...

I tink it's a little ridiculous to think anyone, regardless of his present stand, would not rejoice in heaven even if he found out he was wrong on some points.

 

i almost hope to be wrong in some areas cuz nothing compares to the relief of finding the truth!
