    A matter of weeks ago, Phil Fulmer's job was in jeopardy. Saturday, his team will play for an SEC title. Unreal. What a year in the SEC, and in the nation in general.

    Nevermind the basketVols getting blown out last night by Texas. But when you shoot 37% from the floor, most teams will beat you, let alone a team that shoots better than 62%.

    Yeah, you gotta love the SEC. When California beat Tennessee early in the season, it was brushed off as one of the top PAC-10 teams against one of the poorer SEC teams. Now, Tenn is tied with the best record in the SEC and Cal is in 7th place in the PAC-10.

    The SEC and the Big Ten seem to have the most inflated ideas of their own greatness.
