    ROFL!

I'm surprised the seller is in Pennsylvania, and not from the Pensacola, Florida area.

Man greed is a powerful tool! If this guy truly hates God's Word as found in the NIV then he would not be seeking filthy $$$$$$ by selling this battered NIV.

But then again many KJVOist like this one love to make $$$$$ at the expense of others ignorance about the English bible etc...(rant) LOL [IMG]

And I see that this person is lord and judge putting W&H in Hell. Yet again more slander....sigh!

Is anything safe from the KJVO lies?

    (Rant off) LOL [IMG]

By the way from looking at what else this person is selling I think that he/she is making fun of all of us.

With some people the mind is a terrible thing to waste and with others the mind is just a terrible thing.

I'm not KJVO, but I'm also not a big fan of the NIV, I have never heard of Westcott and Hort before today, from what I see about them online, it looks like any Bible regardless of the version or any other books by them are not worth much.

    They...

    • Did not believe in the infallibility of the scriptures</font>
    • Did not believe in the supernatural creation</font>
    • Did not believe in the efficacy (power) of the atonement</font>
    • Believed in the necessity of purgatory</font>
    • Believed in the communist system</font>
    • Believed in prayers for the dead</font>

    JGrubbs,

If you will look at the page linked in the post after your first one, you will see that many of these quotes by W and H are ripped from their context in order to make them seem to say something quite different than they really said.

For instance, the first quote on the page you quoted is from Wescotts personal journal that he wrote as a yound man. It is not a denial of miracles, but rather Wescott simply bemoaning his own tendency to be sceptical toward them. Look here to see a fuller text of what he wrote.

You will find many others of the quotes given on the page you linked put back into their rightful context there as well.

This is a lesson in how some who wish to discredit others to suit their own agenda will stoop to almost any level to do that.

And this is how it's done:

"I'm ... KJVO, but I'm also ... a big fan of the NIV, I have ... heard of Westcott and Hort before today, from what I see about them online, it looks like any Bible regardless of the version or any other books by them are ... worth much."

Well I don't know what you're all so upset about. Last year there was an autographed KJV Bible. In pencil. Jesus

It sold for quite a bit.

Sad thing is, more than one person takes the rants of these wing nuts such as that one on ebay SERIOUSLY. That's why it's up to US to counter them.

Exactly! Therefore, I submit, this feller is no more KJVO than Robycop3! [IMG] [IMG]
I think this clown is spoofing KJVo's. I doubt if he is even seriously a Christian. I mean, c'mon! Black Sabbath? Led Zepplin? And I won't even mention the other bands he advertises, because even their name is filthy.

I would not take this clown serious. Do you?

Looks a lot like my old CD collection (minus the Liza Minelli). He may just be new in the faith.

He has alot of zeal. I think he may be new to the faith. Maybe that is why he's selling his CD's etc.

He has a great message at the end of his ranting:
    JMHO,
    §ue (KJVP)

The seller is a hypocrite. Why would want to sell anything he believes is satanic? He is a representative of the conservative compromise. Jesus doesn't call people to be conservative but radical. The seller does not qualify as radical.
