I was studying my Bible today and felt touched by the words of Job, mostly from Job 23:12:

"I haven’t gone back from the commandment of his lips. I have treasured up the words of his mouth more than my necessary food."

That's a good message for thought​

Hello, Im new here. I'm passionate about sharing the word of God and connecting with other believers for the Kingdom business. Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. I'm glad to be part of this community.

Here is my background and observations (since I never did properly introduce myself when I joined):
My parents came to the Lord through a young pastor (missionary church planter with FBHM) who was knocking door-to-door inviting people who had no church to be a part of a Baptist church he was starting.

I think I read in one of your posts that you attended Tennessee Temple. One of my favorite people I have ever had the privilege of meeting was a professor there at one time. His name was John McCormick. When I knew him he was an evangelist. Just wondering if your paths ever crossed.

No problem, I just thought you might know him. You would have liked him. He always preached from the KJV and I have listened to many of his sermons but I don't think I ever heard him address the subject of KJV only. I doubt he would have considered himself KJV only but that made no difference to me, I was greatly blessed by his preaching. Thanks.

The KJV was the standard when I was at Temple. That's all anyone used, but some prof may have consulted other versions. I don't remember any of that. Almost nobody was talking about Bible versions in those days.

What I do remember was that as people became aware of the KJV issues, discussions started up. Then one day from the chapel pulpit, Dr. Roberson mandated that there be no more discussions about Bible versions on campus! Brother McCormick does sound like someone I'd like to know.

God blessed us to finish this year annual mission conference.. more than 300 elders, Pastors are joined together to stay for three days to hear preaching from me, to build the better ministry for future ,,, please pray for them

Hello Walter, I have not spoken to you in a while….how are you, your wife and family. I have a baby granddaughter now in addition to my grandson who is a healthy & rambunctious 3 yo that I love to death.

In closing, I’m praying that your wife is well and contending with her cancer treatments.

My wife is finished with both the chemo and radiation treatments. She's cancer free now and I am so grateful.

I am very glad to hear about your grandchildren. I know they must keep you smiling. The weather is changing and I am sure you are looking forward to activities outside with them

Hello my name is Melinda i have been looking for a online community chat where i can make christian friends, and have study group, and just further my
faith. I currently don't have a church but now days it seems like a lot of churches they will talk about you, or just want offerings. I believe you should be able to go to church and learn about god not having to worry about putting money in a offering .

We have lost the art of creating disciples. We gather with friends and dig into the word in our home. We are growing through studying God's word. If you can't find a church family, gather with a friend or two and just begin to study his word. We also listen to Pastor Jack Hibbs...he is great if ypu are seeking sound biblical preaching/teaching.

Yes I believe that you can study from at home , ok line chat etc but you must continue your studies and further your knowledge and become close to God also you have to live but his word. Now days they just act like you have to do offerings God don't want your money he wants your time and he don't care how you dress and theirs just so many hipacrits in the churches now days.
