I was actually thinking about this last week.
I was in Japan. It seems that the US is the only nation where peoole think illegal immigrants should stay.
I like Japan, but I had to carry my passport, let them know where I was staying and when I was leaving. If I decided to just stay then Japan would kick me out.
Same with Germany. I lived there for 4 years while in service. But you can't just go there illegally and stay.
ICE isn't there to protect the community, except that some of those here illegally are violent criminals. All, however, who are here illegally are criminals.
It is a civil offence to overstay a visa, but it is a felony to enter the US illegally.
Those who object to law enforcement enforcing the laws of the US should try to change the laws rather than complain when laws are enforced.

Correct, they should “try” and that’s what they are doing right now. However, what is the enforcement process currently? Personally I see a profit agenda ( that this guy is pointing out) and that flys in the face of decency or should to every Christian worldwide.

There's always a profit agenda...on both sides.
I remember Obama saying those here illegally would be deported. The only reason it is an issue now is a Republican is saying it.
I actually don't believe we shoukd change the laws. We need a vetting process for those entering our country.
Why should the US be the only nation that opens its borders without checks or policies?
BUT I do believe that the immigration procedure needs to be reworked.
And I believe Trump is going about it wrong.
If it were me, I'd provide 3 months for all who entered illegally to report for a background check and be issued an immigration status so they can stay and work while applying for citizenship. After 3 months deport those who didn't comply or failed a background check.
The reason is the last administration created this mess. It is wrong to penalize people for coming in illegally when the last administration welcomed them to come. It's a different administration but the same country. The US allowed them in.

The issue is you have created two paths for legal immigration … a 10 year official legal process to get permission or overstay a tourist visa and wait 3 months.
It’s not that simple unfortunately….deportation is one thing, shipping them into detention camps without due process is quite another.
Or you can catch and execute them. Just kidding of course. However klinking them up and then selling them to work camps is not humane either.

What’s the AMERICAN popes recommendation to all this? He can’t just ignore the mess his predecessor helped create. Perhaps shipping these illegal's to Roman Catholic countries is warranted. After all, they funded much of the transportation, housing, food that helped to make this all possible …so perhaps they could keep them living in their own countries.
The left does not care about due process. They want those who had due process returned.
And most (all?) have had due process and a deportation order issued.
I agree that felons shoukd be sent to a federal prison rather than a detention camp.

I would suggest we offer an alternative. A 7 year long draft into the US Army infantry (specifically). Our Military complex could use boots on the ground charging Russians with rifles & bayonets. It might just save my hard charging Marines some lives if you teach them to be dangerous and give them something to fight & die for… that way they earn their keep (fighting for the freedoms the USA provides).

They are ineligible for military service.
1. If your choice is join the military or go to jail you are ineligible gor the military.
2. As a non-citizen one has to be a legal resident (a perm. resident alien) to join the military and even here you have a limited time you can serve.
3. They are felons.
I believe they should do background checks and expedite resident alien status.
But the liberals don't want this because, as they stated, they "need" the slave labor to work the fields and clean their houses.

Don’t care what credit card they use just teach them to kill and start with hand to hand and bayonets ( before they touch a rifle) Let them learn what it’s like to be covered in blood. If anyone makes it out they will at least have PTSD but they will be warriors and claim citizenship. Then the government will have to support US Vets and keep VA Hospitals open.
Change the law then. Trumps a fing felon… so what? Establish a goon squad in your branch of the army. And the time line for service must be 7 years…that way Hegstath could kill allot of them. Surely MAGA would pull strings to get this accomplished and in short order. We now have a means to go to war and wipe out those commie Russians, force those chicken Europeans to join in and finish this Ukraine Conflict thing once and for all.
And let’s face reality, we always controlled the world via military might … but be have lost our edge. War is our way back to dominance. And Russia has been asking for it for a long time.

Look at what has happened in LA. I realize it is not as big as the media presents it. But those people rioting do not deserve to serve in the military.....and our service men and women deserve better than rioters who are assaulting police officers, destroying property, burning cars, etc.
I say send those protesting, regardless of citizenship, by flying flags to the nations identified by those flags. That'd solve a lot.
And then, while we are at it, start taxing the Catholic Church. No more Mr. Nice Guy… and make them pay reparations for funding this invasion. And make it hurt!

Immigrants have always looked for opportunities to serve this country and in return be legitimately recognizing. My own clan has fought and died for this country. One of my hero’s came from County Cork Ireland and joined up at 16 as a paratrooper, fought in WW2, lost his leg and we put him in a Memorial Day parade as the grand marshal. He earned it and much more if I can be honest. He also served as a substitute father to me after my own dad died. So why should we not give these people the chance to live a respectable life same as afforded to us…of course, there is a price to be paid.
Im sorry but your not facing reality. Our country has been hollowed out from the inside. The true “Powers that Be” are moving their money away from the G7 to BRICS. That might be a slow transition but it’s happening in real time.
