Christ SHALL Save His People From Their Sins

So Christ is going to save the Jews as they were His people?

So that means that for the rest of us we have to freely trust in the risen Christ Jesus and then God the Father will by His grace save those that have believed.

"Any message that teaches Christ saving only the individuals chosen by God, with the rest left to perish, is not only a lie, it's an evil in this world that is an attempt to assassinate the character of God. But thank God ALL can come to the foot of the Cross and find mercy and grace in our Lord an Savior. All who will, "IF thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God has raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness..."

Charlie, Jesus only saves those given to Him.

A hymn written by Augustus Toplady.

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Psalm 116:7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

1. From whence this fear and unbelief?
Hast thou, O Father, put to grief
Thy spotless Son for me?
And will the righteous Judge of men
Condemn me for that debt of sin
Which, Lord, was charged on thee?

2. Complete atonement thou hast made,
And to the utmost farthing paid
Whate’er thy people owed;
How then can wrath on me take place,
If sheltered in thy righteousness,
And sprinkled with thy blood?

3. If thou hast my discharge procured,
And freely in my room endured
The whole of wrath divine,
Payment God cannot twice demand,
First at my bleeding Surety’s hand,

And then again at mine.

4. Turn, then, my soul, unto thy rest;
The merits of thy great High Priest
Speak peace and liberty;
Trust in his efficacious blood,
Nor fear thy banishment from God,
Since Jesus died for thee.

Matthew 1:21 states that "He shall save his people from their sins."

It does not say, "He might save some people if they will let Him", which is the practical implication of the teaching of those who falsely teach that people will go to Hell for whom Christ died and paid their sin debt.

Staying within the context of Matt. 1:21, who are His people that He came to save at His first advent?

Ephesians 1:3-6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Christ came the the first time "only for the lost sheep of Israel."

Paul tells us that "they are not all Israel which are of Israel."

Only the ones who believe in Jesus Christ are considered to be Israel.

We Gentiles have been given a life rope through being grafted (the olive tree example) into Israel, but only the ones who believe.

This is clearly not a choosing by God of who will be saved, but rather an example of mercy from God giving man the opportunity to accept Christ and be saved.

What are you talking about

All those that teach a false gospel based on pagan philosophy that augustine brought into the church in the 4th century and which calvin and those that followed have carried on until today.

The TULIP/DoG do not reflect the love and character of God who desires all to come to Him for salvation and sent His son as the propitiation for the worlds sins so that those that freely trust in His risen son will be saved.

That is one of my favourite hymns. I particularly like the verses you highlighted.
