Any BB'ers on Ebay?

I'm proud to say that I've completed my Renaissance Fair costume by purchasing the different items on Ebay:

Jerkin (a type of men's vest)
Cloak
Boot toppers (they go over your shoes to look like boots)
Leather sword belt ()

I already own the pants, shirt, and hat. I gotta say the folks I bought from have been the nicest people and their products are of the highest quality. Some of those folks can sew!!!

Massdak, we just sold a digital video camera last night. It'll be a bit harder to sell the 7 professional microphones tho. Not that many people looking for those type items!

Here's the link to our stuff!

i like your description write ups that is important. original pictures with good picture quality will add more bids also. thank you for the link i will check out your auctions every now and then. i need to improve on how i write my descriptions, my wording use is poor but i did have some good bids on my reloading items.

Jim added a student Clarinet tonight. He'd bought it to help with his COPD / Asthma but really is too ill now to play it.

A little church in Flordia emailed this morning and needed 3 microphones for their praise team so we were able to sell them one set of three microphones at a price reduction and Jim is going to ship free. The total of what we've now sold.... is only 36 cents less than our mortgage payment! Praise the Lord!
We sold the top three micrphones! Sold These!

We just sold the Clarinet! Neat. She didn't want the mouthpiece so we'll need to relist it. I've got a lot of small things to list like PS1 games and some collectibles. I'd forgotten how easy this is!

It was a bit of a shock at first but I like that 'Buy it Now' remains available even when someone has placed a bid. We sold a microphone a few minutes ago!

Hi massdak,

If you're selling something that has a UPC code, you can enter the code and ebay creates the descriptions and pictures for you. I'm not sure if it does that for everything but I've sold movies using it and that helps me a lot.

Kim! You're kidding! I've listed so many PS1 and 2 games and had NO idea! Is that new? Learn something every day! Thanks for the heads up!

I've considered putting up my sis for adoption on EBay. I've heard that there is a rule forbidding the sale of body parts..what about whole people who are 14? (BTW..I am just kidding..it's our family joke)

What do you consider the best "deal" you've made on Ebay (buy or sell)?

Mine is probably a Barbie pink A-frame dollhouse with furniture that I bought at a yard sale for $10 and sold for $180.

We too have paid our mortgage this month with Ebay. I truly believe that God put this opportunity into my heart last summer. I have sold a lot of stuff on Ebay this year while continuing to teach 4th grade at our Christian school. My kids have gotten a charge out of my side business and my box collecting (gotta ship you know). I've also been able to sell off some unused SRA kits for my school at a nice profit.

I buy my home school material off there usually. Hmmm... my BEST deal? How about our favorite instead?

Speak 'n Spell, Speak 'n Read, Speak 'n Math! Our grown kids loved these as children and we bought them for Nick a few years ago. He plays with them as he falls asleep and while we're driving in the car. They cost a lot tho! I'm sure I could turn around and sell them for the same or more than I paid but I've got grandkids who'll enjoy them in a few years.
