As an unbeliever, am I able to worship God?

You can try, but according to the Scriptures, worship of God is in "spirit and truth" and one cannot have spirit and truth until one is regenerated from their sin-cursed state and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

Please do not make that a reason to stop trying, however. Sometimes trying at worship leads to true worship when God works through the acts of worship to bring life.

Interesting post. I am reminded of the centurion Cornelius...

"He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.

Yet, was not a believer at the time.
