Bob, if we are led by the Spirit, we will not fulfill the lusts fo the flesh.

Something very interesting about that verse. The Spirit is leading. Which means, if we truly are saved, the Spirit will tell us what we purpose in our hearts is either good or evil... at the time we purpose it.

Notice God tried to convict Cain before he killed Abel? but Cain allowed his flesh to dieobey God.

Am I saying Cain was saved? No, but it does show that God warns us.

Paul sinned after his Damascus Road experience. Does that mean that Paul was not really saved? I don't think so. It shows that the flesh is weak. It is when that fruit remains on the tree that shows whether the tree is bad or not.

If you watched this movie in question, Bob. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest where women's costumes allowed their breasts to half hang out, where jewelry adorned the breasts in some costume bringing attention to them, where women talked of 'having men', and you told me that there was nothing wrong with that movie; I would have to say that you were bearing fruit unbecoming a child of God.

How can I say that? By repeating the Word of God...

1 John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Can a Christian fall in the mud? Yes. Will that Christian stay in the mud? No. The Spirit will convict. God will chasten whom He loves.

If that one dies in the act of that which God determines sin or abomination, God's Word has judged that one to be bearing evil fruit. Can I declare different?
How do you know so much about the movie Sfic?

Also, you stated before that Paul was chief of sinners, present time. Did Paul bring forth corrupt fruit??

RE: Whom I am chief.

Bob, I am typing this out slowly for you...

Of whom I am... not of whom I was. Paul, in his present saved state, was the chief of sinners. Present, Bob... not past.

We are to judge ourselves that we should not be judged-1 Cor. 11:31

Judging myself keeps me too busy to have time to judge anyone else.:wavey:

I saw the movie.

I liked it.

I don't even remember all the breasts. Therefore, I declare this movie only suitable for heterosexual women who are not enticed by cleavage.

Okay, I bow to pressure.

This IS a ludicrous degradation of a thread that should have been stopped pages ago.

Closed to save some of you further embarrassment.
