Christ crucified on a Cross was a legal work according to God's law

Jesus death was for the sins of individuals , those whom He intended to get saved , all of the ones granted to Him by the Father

God wants all to be saved, doesn't the Scripture say, "It's my Father's will that none should perish?

But God doesn't always get His way with man and his free will.

How can God though"not get His way?"

Will God stop you from robbing a bank? No He won't, but that is not His will for you.

You're free to do whatever you want, even though God doesn't want that for you.

Does God want you to be eternally separated from Him, No, He does not.

Will most men be eternally separated from God, yes they will.

God has laid down the Law for a specific way for fallen man to come back in fellowship with Him.

He will not force anyone, man has the free will to choose to obey God or suffer the consequences.

I think we have a problem on what God has determined to take place and what He has not determined.

God has determined that "all of Israel will be saved."

That is in the future and the whole world gathered together against Israel cannot change what God has determined for Israel.

God has determined that whoever believes in His Son will be saved.

Nothing in this world can change that, whoever wants to be saved will be saved.

In regards to salvation and saving out His own people though, God "always gets His way"

Election and predestination are on an individual basis though
