Church Camps

I'll go first!

I attend church camp every year. I attend a church camp in south Missouri called Sagmount Baptist Bible Camp. It is so beautiful there, 5 days of preaching services 2x daily, sports, and musical, spriture learning, and drawing competitions. It is a great place to go and fellowship with fellow Christians our own age.

I've only been to church camp twice. Once was to the West Branch of the Bill Rice Ranch (in Flagstaff, AZ). The other was to the Wild's (in Brevard, NC). Both were really great!

I don't go to too many camps because we are missionaries. We go to a missionaries retreat here every year but mostly we hold VBS for kids around our town. Most of them are unsaved and last year we had around forty of them come. More could have come but we didn't have the facilities.

When I was a youth many decades ago, I attended youth church camp at Falls Creek, near Davis, OK. I loved it.

I've never been, but I would sure love to! There have been none held right around my area that I know of, and my grandparents wouldn't let me travel out of town alone to attend one. Maybe one day I'll get to go to atleast one!

its so great there...heartland's church..South West bapstist church..Its such an awesome camp. Every other year Bro. Kenny Baldwin preaches and many many get saved. God has truely blessed that place and the people in it. I just regret haveing not gone in years past.

I dont think its that new... though it might be depends on your definition of new. I've gone there the past two years and I know that our church had gone there probably a few years before that.

Hi all I go to church camp every year. We like to go to m-fuge. It is a mission’s camp where you go to a town for a week and work. You can do anything from build a house or do vbs to outreach programs during the day. And then at night you have church and group time. I really like it. I live for camp

Myself, Shinja, AlienSoul and a few others on this site attend a church camp at Penn York in PA. Myself and Shinja have attended that camp for 10 years and in my opinion it was something that I loved greatly and always looked forward to every year. Sadly to say it may have been my last year because of college and such things but I may be able to return before college starts.

I attended a church camp last year for the first time called Centrifuge in Panama City and this year we are going there except to X-fuge. Casting Crowns is leading the worship!

Sad news for the Texamo Camp goers. The one my church always goes to isnt going to be held anymore. The Southwest Baptist church is the one who has ran for...well i gues for ever..anyways, they are changing to a different camp. I only got to go to that one once but I loved it. I was really looking forward to going again. Oh well Im sure its all apart of God's Great Plan. ;)

My church camp has been around since 1960. My pastor actually went to clean it up when he was a senior in college, it was formally a casino.
