COMMON GROUND COFFEE HOUSE #27

Tell him to rub some dirt on it and get happy.

Diane, she told me, had I done it when she wanted me to, that I would not have been without my keys. Now when she tells me to do something, I search the area thoroughly looking for lost money, keys and the such.

Oh Dr. Bob that is TOO funny!

Gib, Jim always says 'Where's my ____. No it's not! It's not there. I looked!' Well of course you know I go there and pick up what he's looking for.... right where I said it would be. 'Where'd you find it?' he always asks. LOL

Giiiiiiiiiib! You vacuum the dust off your ceilin' fans??????? Does Cheryl give you the "Run Down" on how much more efficient the dust-less fans are verses ones so dusty---they'd pass for Cotton Farm Cropdusters??

Miriam is like that too----"You know-----we loose .08 percent windage with that dust being there-----all the time I'm headed for the dusting stuff!!!!! Might as well!!! Just being a

My theory is, if you run it fast enough, them little dust bunnies can't hang on.

You might have just killed someone, you know. Bible says, "Dust thou art, to dust returning".

Probably there in your vacuum is somebody coming or going . .

Sounds to me like Dr. Bob preaches against vacuuming! So, Gib, is YOUR dust red too? My ceiling fan in the living room actually gets orange dust from the red clay out back! Only half of my back yard will grow grass.

Hubby has to do the ceiling fan in the l/r because it's a cathedral ceiling and I can't reach it even on a ladder.

Dr. Bob, I thought I heard the dust on the bookshelf talk to me. I went back to it and found out is the ghost of Wyatt Earp.

Our dust is a dark gray and lays on thick. Canned air is our friend.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts - and you for all the advice Abiyah!

I haven't found it yet, but we took the setting to a jeweler today and he can put a similiar sized heart shaped cz in it's spot for $25.

My husband is being very nice about it, thank goodness. He took apart all of the sinks and the drain on our shower. I read that a uv light might make it glow. He said he can get one on Monday that we can try.

I believe it was lost in my house because I hadn't gone anywhere yesterday, and when I went to take the kids somewhere at 3pm, I looked at my hand on the steering wheel and about died at the gaping hole in my ring. I had looked at my hands earlier thinking I had better do my nails soon, and I would have seen it then. You would think I'd be able to find it. It may be wrapped in to one of the presents I wrapped yesterday.

Congratulations on the beautiful new grandbaby Dr. Bob!!

I sure pray you find it Jul! I know you must be heartbroken.

I wonder how C.J. is! She was coming down with something Thursday night. Sure pray it's not the flu. Maybe she's just enjoying a nice rest and all these football games!

Since I do the cleaning around the house, I ask people to feel free to write their names in the dust. BUT NOT THE DATE.

You know, I always made fun of the "stereotypical grandma" who never went anywhere without a gajillion pix of the grand kids.

I not only MARRIED one, I R 1.

Good morning everyone! For some reason I got up early this morning, and thought that I drop in to see what you all are up to?

Congratulations Dr. Bob for yet another grandchild! Chloe looks beautiful, and ready to face the world. I think the best "interactive" picture is the one below, where Cloe is looking back at her adoring grandparents...

If we just could have grandchildren - without having to first have had children!!

Congrats to Dr. Bob and his lovely wife!

Dan - also a proud Pop Pop

PS - these are Kelly's children (I don't have access to a digital photo of Kari's children.)

Good Morning All!

Just popping in for a minute to say that I am having a lovely, fun time with the grands from Wisconsin.

I forgot what it was like getting three kids ready for church!

Got to run....family comes first! I will pop back in either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Have a great day!

Good morning, everybody!

I've pretty much been asleep for 2 days. :( Caught the "crud" going around, but don't think it's the flu...just a bad cold and cough. I very rarely get sick, so this has thrown me for a loop!

Decided today I'd better try to get up for awhile. I do feel somewhat better, but my stomach is sore from coughing so hard. When I cough now, it hurts my stomach more than my chest!

I am NOT ready for Christmas! By now, I normally have it all together and am just enjoying the holiday spirit. But this year, due to work schedule and being sick, I am WAY behind! I need to wrap packages and find out what I am supposed to contribute for Christmas dinner...then go to the store to get the stuff to make it.

So, I may try to wrap some packages today...I'm not going to get out, even for church. :( I really hate to miss it today. We are having the Lord's Supper this morning. But I just don't feel like getting ready...and I'm still coughing a lot, so I'm pretty sure people will be GLAD I stayed home!!

Boy Howdy and Happy 4th Sunday in Advent to All!

Sorry to see folks down with the "crud" and praying. Everyone up in Buffalo with the new baby has it (daughter-in-law's mom is down and not able to help). Yuk.

And then come on the BB this a.m. and see MY PICTURE up on the screen! Thank you, Barnabas!

Having a catered dinner after church today, so enjoy NOT having to cook or carry in anything. Will report on it later!
