Good Morning All, It feels like a Monday!

I have to work 4 hours today but in the next town so I'll be gone from around noon until at least 6 because of that so don't worry about me! LOL

Dr. Bob, every grandbaby you've had doesn't look like newborns! You guys have some secret? LOL I'm so glad you and Dr. Mrs. Dr. went to the 'other side' yesterday! I know you were welcomed and enjoyed the day!

Dan and Sue! You both have off today, don't you? Enjoy your time off! I got a phone call late last night from a high school friend. She had gotten her first computer and she said she couldn't wait to try and find me! She and I were best friends. Both very quiet around the other girls and boys. Her name is Diann.

Talk to you all later!

Morning Diane!

I don't go back to work until school is back in session and that is not until January 5th!

It is always neat to be reunited with an old friend! Computers have done much for communication.

I am off to fix breakfast, but will be around.

Good morning, everybody!!

Hope you all had a delightful Christmas! We had a lovely day yesterday...the dinner was great, and I got some new DVD's which I needed! (I got a DVD player for my birthday back in October, and I didn't have any DVD's!) All-in-all, it was a wonderful day of family, fun, food and most of all, remembering what we were celebrating!

I'm also off till Jan. 5th, and boy, does it feel good!! This morning, I'm leisurely drinking my coffee, putting away Christmas gifts and wrapping, and just taking it easy...I look forward to a week of doing nothing unless I WANT to do something!!

Enjoy your day...however it may be spent!!

Boy Howdy and good morning after Christmas to all!

Over the river and through the woods (actually it is fun to cross the valleys and divides in the rugged high plains and rivers coming out of the Big Horns - over the North Platte, Salt Creek, Castle, Powder River, Crazy Woman, Clear Creek). But glad to be home and have the morning off and PEACE AND QUIET!

Winter storm warning today. Snowing and 34F all along the the eastern slopes, but we've missed it thus far. Most of Casper is either back at work today . . or at the Mall RETURNING schtuff!

I'll opt for work at 1 pm ANY DAY over the crowds in the return lines!

Hello folks! My wife and I are back in circulation. Had a glorious two days with family and friends. Wife brought some clothes from Hungary to two of our grandkids, and they were giving us a fashion show yesterday afternoon. I took a picture of them with my simple digital camera. Their names are Tori (short for Victoria), and Noah.

Good afternoon everyone. Hot Coffee is great! Our Central Heat decided not to work last night.

Nothing major! Super Ed came to the rescue and discovered the problem. (He is relaxing after all that work

Glad you all had a safe, fun Christmas!

Have a great day!

Central heat IS a big deal in most parts of the country! Glad it could be fixed without delay.

Of course, I've been in OKC in August and lost of central AIR is a much more traumatic disaster!

Think hot coffee would be a good idea! (and this from a tea-totaller!)

I have to agree with you there. That has happened to us also. We can get some really extreme temperatures in this state!

The wind is about to blow us away again.

We stayed home today except for a short trip to the local Christian Book Store. I decided to shop online. Sure beats the crowds

Can't remember who invited me here (was it Diane? I'm terible with names, especially cybernames!)

I was daunted by a 12 page tread but I thought I'd peek in and say "hi".
You all seem a friendly bunch!

I have some special herbal Calli tea. MUCH BETTER than the coffee, chocolate and sugar concoction you desire.

And strip your arteries of all that bad schtuff. So you can eat Twinkies and Cheetos and other health foods.

Welcome here. We allow a few (elect) UK'ers in the coffee shop here. As a matter of fact, we can't keep you out!

Day after Christmas is often a "letdown" day emotionally. A "blue" day for many, and many of us are not smurfs!

Yet for most of us, it sounds like a RECUPERATION day instead!

Catch your breath, put the feet up, drink some tea or maybe take that new book or magazine and head to bed a little early.

Blessed day-after-Christmas to all.

Good Morning All!

Welcome to the CH Daughter! We stop in here several times a day to take a break from the 'serious' threads and just chat about our day.

It is supposed to be 41º today, but 20-30 mph winds! Rain tomorrow!

I am going to start putting inside Christmas decorations away today. Hubby is working today and maybe a couple days next week if they need him. He will take the outside decorations down when he gets a chance.

Isn't Sheila coming back today or tomorrow? I miss her greeting me early each morning!

Off to check other forums...

Dan??? You're not Sheila?? After all these years--Blackbird thought . . .!!

Sue---eggnog---1/2 a cup once a year is good enough for Blackbird---rest of the year, rain/sunshine, cold/heat---he'll have tea, iced and sweet!!!

As you can see, Blackbird is brushin' up on his rhymne and poise!!! May need it one day!!

Your Southern Baptist preachin', collective rhymnin' buddy,

Me too, but hubby bought 4 quarts of eggnog for when the kids were here and none of them liked it!
So guess who lives by "waste not, want not"?

The 'no waste', gaining weight again, Granny...
