Gibbers, I think you're right. My pastor has already put me on notice that I should be available to preach at any time! I haven't preached since 1995.

Catch up, Catsup, Ketchup; it's all irrelevant. It's not how you reed it, but how you seigh it.

Isn't English a great language? If you've grown up with it, you know the strain of trying to get spelling and grammar correct.

But those to whom it is a second or third language?

Sign in Pakistani hotel: Please leave your values at the front desk.

In a Tokyo hotel: You are invited to take advantage of the chambermaid

And in Zurich, my favorite: Because of the impropriety of entertaining guests of the opposite sex in your hotel rooms, it is suggested that the lobby be used for that purpose.

Oh, my. Makes ketchup v catsup look tame . .

I am trying out a used computer this afternoon. I will have it until tomorrow when my other one should be fixed.

I haven't figured out how to do anything on this one (XP) except get to my emails and the BB!

If I decide to keep this puter, he will transfer all of my files etc. to this one, but I won't have any of my email addys until he does.

Anyone wanting to email me so I can add you into the system before then - feel free.

Thanks Diane. I sure wish I sounded as good as YOU do on the phone!

Thanks for all the prayers. I don't sound much better than I did this morning, but I am going to vote today if I have to C R A W L to the polls!

HAGD!

Glad you got a loaner Sue! I don't know if I'd buy a used computer. New ones are so cheap now, esp since you don't need a monitor, keyboard, etc.

I don't feel as good this afternoon as I have felt with this cold. Almost like I'm getting a cold on top of my cold! Could be! With all these kids here, they probably all have a different virus. Anyhow my arms and legs feel sort of rubbery and I'm headachy and sneezing.

Hey Ya'll!

I'm sneezy and snotty today too. I'd love to know what brought this attack on. I don't believe I'm sick cause I don't feel bad, 'cepting my nose is sore from all the blowing. Thank the Lord for Puffs!

What's your neck of the woods voting for today Sue? Glad you're back up and running. I'd be lost without my computer and the internet.

Diane, you're probably right about all the kids having something different. That's so they can pass it around to each other and make more money for the doctor!

Thankful

Sue, Walmart has a computer with flat screen for $498.00. Ed says that the computer is better than the ones we have. I really like my flat screen.

I've not felt bad even one day until now and my legs are sort of aching.... like I'm coming down with a cold. I thought I had gotten off too easy! I'll take cold medicine early tonight and try to get some extra sleep. I didn't sleep well last night because of night sweats.

I'd love to have a flat screen monitor! I could move my desk back quite a bit in this small room! Even moving it back 5 inches would be a blessing.

Thanks Betty. I saw the one online at Wal-Mart and I really liked it. It was an Emachine. I had one of those that lasted nearly six years and I loved it!

But this man that is selling me the used one is a faithful member of our church and he runs a computer business. He is giving me a good warranty and changing all my files from the old computer to the new and then cleaning the old computer up so Brent can use it for his educational CD's. He is not charging me an arm and a leg either...

Diane: A flat screen monitor still has that big long thing in the back. Only the screen is flat. What YOU want (and I do too) is a slimline. They are the ones that are real skinny and take up hardly any room.

Shawna went to the library and brought me by the book, "Windows XP for Dummies".

The computer didn't come with a book, but the man who sold it is coming to the house to help me and he will be available by phone also.

I haven't really done too badly so far...

I am hitting the recliner with a good mystery (which Shawna also got at the library). I am working my way through a series of books by Josephine Tey. I am really enjoying the antics of Inspector Grant from Scotland Yard.

I doubt I'll make it back on here tonight, so will say good night now.

Pleasant dreams all!

I love my wireless laptop. I can surf from anywhere in the house. My other computer's hardrive died and now were back to one.

The boys use our computer everyday. Cheryl rarely uses it and of course I am the computer's best friend.
