I LOVE snow, Padre! We lived in Connecticut for many years and a number of years in N.J., Maryland and Illinois. I love being where there are SBC's tho even more.
Snow Bound Churchgoers?
There are quite a few SBCs in the area. Granted we don't have 'em on every street corner.

They're talking flurries for us again on Thursday. I hope at least this cold will kill off some of the mosquitos and flies.
After two days, I finally have a path cleaned through my house. Good thing, I've already been tapped to substitute on Friday. If the rest of the week is anything like the last two days, I'll probably get called tomorrow and Thursday as well. One school that I don't usually teach at, and didn't think I was on the list for, called me at 9 o'clock this morning to come in today. Flu season has hit our city, it seems.

The flu has hit hard here, too.
I went and got my "new teeth" today. They are so pretty. They are temporary and I'll get the permanent veneers in a month. They feel really weird, though. I am afraid to eat
but that could be a good thing!
So glad Sue is on the mend and Dan's "innerds" are OK. And for the rest of yall, get better soon!

Dr. Bob...I know you're a busy man, my friend! I'm praying for you and am glad you're back. I missed seeing your posts and your BOW TIE!
Well, folks, it's cold here this morning. We had flurries yesterday, and I wasn't posting yesterday. Viv and I got up at 2am yesterday as usual, and I was very ill, so she called in and we made appointments to go see the doctor at 11:30am yesterday. We didn't get out until almost 2:30pm. Viv's sinus' are pretty well cleared up, as is her throat! Praise the Lord! The doctor was sort of upset with me for waiting so long to come in. I have an ear infection, sinus infection and respiratory infection, complicated by a cluster headache. No wonder I've been so "off kilter" the last few days....weeks...months...years??? LOL
If the respiratory gets much worse, he's putting me back in the hospital. I never knew I could be so weak, physically, and it's frustrating. I guess you could say it's "a guy thing". But, again, I know the Lord has a reason for it. But, there was some good news from the doc, too! My hemoglobin counts are still at 11.9! They've not gone down. I said something about them not having gone up, either, and he let me have it good! He said, "Look, Anthony! You were pretty near dead on October 8th, and you're a LOT, LOT, LOT better than you were then and still here with us...thank the Lord for that and don't worry about it! It could be worse!" Thank God for a doctor who loves the Lord and treats me like family! Thanks to all of you who kept after me to go to the doctor! No shots, but he did put me on an antibiotic and I go back next Wednesday for a follow up. He keeps reminding me that it's going to take a while for me to mend.

Morning all! I slept really good and really long. I woke at 11:00 p.m. to take my antibiotic for the sinus thing and went right back to sleep. Ty didn't even wake up when she carried him in so I went back to bed but Jim was getting showered, etc. and we did talk a few minutes. I slept until Nick started jumping on my bed at 8:30.
Tony, this sinus thing with fluid behind my ear has given me such headaches too. I didn't take the decongestant he gave me yesterday because it seems to not work as well as Sudaphed (which I don't have in the house). I've had some mild vertigo this week. Sure makes it hard to get anything done when turning your head can cause you to feel like you've gotten off a spinning ride. I can't imagine you living with severe vertigo! Hope you feel better VERY soon. I've been on the antibiotics for the sinus infection since Friday at lunch.
