Is selling study bibles, theology books, or commentaries "selling Jesus?" Is it wrong to "buy Jesus?"

This video asserts that any company that would do the above mentioned is essentially guilty of "Simony." Their stance seems to presuppose that people are somehow getting rich off of teaching the word of God. In addition to the fact that buying these is also wrong/sinful. I find this to be an asinine claim. What are your thoughts on this matter?

With the sort of production value their vids have, it makes me wonder if their channel is monetized? Thus, making money off of Jesus...

Just comes across as false piety. Millions have been blessed in the west and abroad by people who took their time to write commentaries, books, etc. I'm happy to pay for them because they were a labor of love unto God and His people by the author.
