But not created light.
Of course not. He is the uncreated true Light, being the Creator.
What's the context there, brother?
Re: Isaiah 45:6-8, . . . That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.

Many believe in creation out of nothing. But why not address the topic or Job 38:7?
I did. Genesis 1 is about the creation of the material universe. Angels are not part of the material universe.

IOW, not the natural light created when He said, let there be light. Everyone can see natural light, but no one can see the light of God, though He is omnipresent, except through the eyes of faith.

This is not the natural light and darkness of Genesis 1. God is saying to the heathen king of Persia, I send the good times, and I send the bad times.

They shouted with joy when the earth was formed, thus existed at that time. Me thinks thou protest too much...

They were there indeed, meaning they were there in the beginning. They weren't made in the beginning. They were made whenever their realm was made, which is not part of this creation.

If this represents your inductive conclusion, have at it. :) I see no reason why they might not have been created in the prior part of the creation week.

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth. And this describes His actions:
Nothing existed except God. What was outside of God is unknown, occluded by darkness.
God spoke light into existence, so light and darkness were separated, thus day and night of day one.

God spoke the heavens, the created space of our universe, into existence, separating the unknown above or below it.
This is what God created on day two.

God created the planet earth out of the unknown, including dry land and seas. Then God created the vegetation, each reproducing after their kind, and that is what God created on day three.

Then God filled the space surrounding earth's atmosphere, (called the second heaven, the atmosphere being called the first heaven, together referred to as "the heavens) with "luminaries" (stars and objects reflecting their light) to serve as guides to better understand times and directions. And they shall provide light alternating with darkness for the earth, the sun, moon and the stars of night, and that is what God created on day 4.

Some have a problem with God providing sunlight on day four, with the vegetation thriving on day 3. But the "shop light" God created on day one could provide the needed illumination for the vegetation, so a non-problem to my way of thinking.

What do you mean "outside of God?" Are you presuming God existed in a space bigger than himself? That there is room somewhere to spare? Somewhere HIs light couldn't reach?

If to you, the omniscience of God means His creation can have a knowledge of something that He does not, then does the omnipresence of God imply His absence?

Is your definition of omnipotence "mostly powerful."?

You're not getting off to a good start here.

Van, you have to be true to the text. The separation of light and darkness was an act of God subsequent to His creation of light.

God spoke the heavens, the created space of our universe, into existence, separating the unknown above or below it.
This is what God created on day two.
LOL. If by unknown you mean "waters," why don't you just say waters? If you don't mean the waters, why are you denying what is written?

God created the planet earth out of the unknown, including dry land and seas.
LOL. If by unknown you mean "water," why don't you just say water? Peter didn't have a problem with it:

2 Peter 3:5 - For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

If you don't mean water, why are you denying what is written?

Oh! And the seas were there. They were just gathered into one place.

Then God created the vegetation, each reproducing after their kind, and that is what God created on day three.
Good job!

Then God filled the space surrounding earth's atmosphere, (called the second heaven, the atmosphere being called the first heaven, together referred to as "the heavens)
Just to be clear, 'heaven' is the space between the waters, which would seem to include the air.

with "luminaries" (stars and objects reflecting their light) to serve as guides to better understand times
What do you mean "better understand"? Who was confused about times and seasons and days and years before?

and directions.
Where is that written?

And they shall provide light alternating with darkness for the earth, the sun, moon and the stars of night, and that is what God created on day 4.
Anyone's guess about the nuance Van is trying to impose here is as good as mine.

"Shop light." LOL. And even if it wasn't, plants can survive a day or two without the right kind of light. But just accepting what is written is no problem.

But the process of growth was accomplished in one day, which never happens in nature, and yet some people have a problem with the light from distant stars reaching the earth in one day.

Since “by Him all things consist,” and “He upholds all things by the word of His power,” I don’t think it would be difficult for plants to live without the sun. It is just a matter of God sustaining them.

When we start deciding what God could have done, we are starting with faulty reasoning.

Job 38:2
Who is this that darkeneth counsel
by words without knowledge?

Sometimes it amazes me how people can read the end of the book of Job and begin trying to answer the questions that the Lord asked to Job. Job recognized his inadequacy, but we have the answers. :Roflmao

What is clearly stated can be relied upon. What timelines are put together with scissors and glue from here and there are to be suspect.
Any attempt to satisfy “oppositions of science, falsely so-called” is a waste of time and a disregard of God’s Word.

Colossians 1:17
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Hebrews 1:3
Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Light overrides darkness, darkness is the absence of light. Thus when God created light, He separated it from the darkness. As far as we know, both actions had occurred when mentioned, so the claim they did not occur simultaneously is once again, adding to scripture.
Except for the fact that you're imposing your imagination on the text.
Lets see, scripture does not say angels were created during the creation week, so by considering it is an addition to scripture, but to claim angels were created before the creation week is not an addition. :)

Angels were made before day one.

Certainly, scripture does not preclude that possibility, but unless you can cite scripture which precludes angels being created before the earth's creation day, you are simply making an argument from silence.
...as are you, with the added offense of reading into the narrative a host of imaginations.

More false charges, more running from scripture.

I say, with scripture, angels were created before God formed the earth, possibly during the prior creation days. This view is claimed to an addition to scripture by the above poster. :)
