The generation that witnessed the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple was "this generation".
40 When therefore the lord of the vineyard shall come, what will he do unto those husbandmen?
41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and will let out the vineyard unto other husbandmen, who shall render him the fruits in their seasons.
42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner; This was from the Lord, And it is marvelous in our eyes?
43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
44 And he that falleth on this stone shall be broken to pieces: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust.

That particular generation of Christ's day was a peculiar generation in that it had been foretold of through prophecy such as the Song of Moses [Dt 31:16 - Dt 32], which also is quoted from several times in the NT. Only minutes earlier in the temple had Christ prophesied again concerning that particular generation:
33 Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?
34 Therefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: some of them shall ye kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city:
35 that upon you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of Abel the righteous unto the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom ye slew between the sanctuary and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that killeth the prophets, and stoneth them that are sent unto her! how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. Mt 23
Christ is still referring to that particular generation in the Olivet Discourse.
There's a consistent underlying continuity of the scriptures concerning that very wicked generation. They're called serpents and offspring of vipers by Christ and John the Baptist and specifically singled out by Moses some 1400 years earlier where he plainly states “they are not His children”:
21 And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are come upon them, that this song shall testify before them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they frame this day, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.
22 So Moses wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.
29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do that which is evil in the sight of Jehovah, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. Dt 31
5 They have dealt corruptly with him, they are not his children, it is their blemish; They are a perverse and crooked generation.
20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: For they are a very perverse generation, Children in whom is no faithfulness.
21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; They have provoked me to anger with their vanities: And I will move them to jealousy with those that are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation. Dt 32

And Josephus certainly had nothing good to say of 'that generation':
“It is therefore impossible to go distinctly over every instance of these men's iniquity. I shall therefore speak my mind here at once briefly: - That neither did any other city ever suffer such miseries, nor did any age ever breed a generation more fruitful in wickedness than this was, from the beginning of the world.....” Book 5, ch 10, sec. 5
“.. I suppose, that had the Romans made any longer delay in coming against these villains, that the city would either have been swallowed up by the ground opening upon them, or been overflowed by water, or else been destroyed by such thunder as the country of Sodom (20) perished by, for it had brought forth a generation of men much more atheistical than were those that suffered such punishments; for by their madness it was that all the people came to be destroyed....” Book 5, ch. 13, sec. 6
“....and I cannot but think that it was because God had doomed this city to destruction, as a polluted city, and was resolved to purge his sanctuary by fire, that he cut off these their great defenders and well-wishers, while those that a little before had worn the sacred garments, and had presided over the public worship; and had been esteemed venerable by those that dwelt on the whole habitable earth when they came into our city, were cast out naked, and seen to be the food of dogs and wild beasts. And I cannot but imagine that virtue itself groaned at these men's case, and lamented that she was here so terribly conquered by wickedness.....” Book 4, ch. 5, sec. 2

What everyone needs to know in this perilous times is that the WORLD is now under the power of the horserider of the red horse of the Apocalypse, so they need to know and prepare themselves because it's going to be exceedingly demoniac, something like seven times worse than before->Luke 11:26,-> it's going to open or stimulate the appetite of the grave. For a certain time he has and will have the function of Dominator of the WORLD and consequently promote the disgrace of the nations, many countries shall be overthrown. See: Revelation 6:v.3–4 combined with Daniel 11:41, take a look.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see! 4- And there came out another horse, red; and it was given to him who sat on it to TAKE PEACE FROM THE EARTH and that THEY MUST KILL ONE ANOTHER; and there was given to him a great sword.->(that is, a DEMONIC MOUTH, to speak of atrocities and to foment them throughout the world). Get ready. And after, there come two others horses, the black horse and the yellow one, ridden by two BEASTS. Be prepared or else Get ready
By the book of Revelation, JESUS said: Revelation 11:v.3and6:-> 3 I will give power unto my two witnesses (the Old and New Testaments-the Word is GOD, 6 These have power to shut heaven (END of the Dispensation of Grace-Luke 20:35-36 combined with 1Corinthians 15:24-28, and mainly Revelation 11:15-18, get ready), that it rain not in the days of their prophecy-> days of the end of times-->: and have power over waters to turn them to blood ->(waters? they are peoples, and NATIONS, and multitudes of all tongues), and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.-> (as was or as happened in Sodom and Gomorrah-Luke 17:28-30, take a look).
Just as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, it will LITERALLY be now. They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; but it rained fire and consumed everyone, the exception being Abraham's nephew and his family, of course. The two angels said to Lot: Do you have anyone else here? Your sons, your daughters, your son-in-law and everyone you have in this city, take them out of the city, get out of here, because WE ARE GOING TO DESTROY THIS PLACE. The same will happen now with the CURRENT WORLD OF THE DEVIL AS A WHOLE, but it will not be by the two angels, but only one, the archangel Michael, and he has already begun to ruin, dismantle and dissolve the WORLD OF THE DEVIL.
What you see now is just the beginning, that is, the demolition of the world of the Devil is just beginning. All governments will be dismantled, ruined, destroyed (Revelation 11:18 combined with 2Peter 3:7, among many biblical references), the END is something like an implosion and total destruction, and the Devil will be thrown into the abyss, into the bottomless pit. Be prepared or else get ready.

This reply is the third reply and it is about the last point to comment, it regardings to the content of your extensive email (1) about the coming of Messiah, (2) and about the Biblical Chronology and the Jewish Calendar, (3) and about the six GOD's Days of Creation. By the way, I have not received a response to my last two emails that I sent you, your opinions and comments matter and are very important to me, regardless of the eventual divergences or differences.

Yes, we both have exchanged divergent messages on Daniel 9:24-27, and now, about the content of your email above, again, and honestly, am compelled to diverge once more because your thinking, Rabbi, is from a human perspective, unfortunately, not from GOD's perspective, But why do I say this?-> It is because the NATURE of sin of the sinners and their demonic iniquity would NEVER END by/through something like DESTRUCTION and EXILE as you say, neither both of these two terrible events and chastisements can atone the transgression of rebels sinners, O no, Rabbi, absolutely not, as you know, according to the Law, without shedding of blood is no remission.
You are a Master of Torah and know that the redemption of the sinner was made by the blood of goats and calves, the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer were sprinkling to the unclean to sanctify and to the purifying of the flesh.
That said, your thinking is from a human pespective, the redemption and the ransom of the souls of sinners never were by destruction, nor will it ever be. This interpretation has nothing to do with GOD and His Word, the Tanakh, but merely a deceptive human theory.
