Do you know anything of the two Primitive Baptist churches in Richmond, KY area Little Bethel and Cane Springs?
Haven’t seen you in some time. Did you leave BB? We have had our differences but I always respected you.
I wanted you to know a bit concerning the mention of the preacher. Here is a link to a phone interview with the former wife. https://youtu.be/h0Je_QJ-7wY You can read more on line. I was there, very involved, very few families survived, …..
I suggest the thread “Roman__ and Calvinism” be moved to the Calvinism forum where it might attract a larger participant audience of non-Baptists.
I just realized that your Momma passed on your birthday. My Grandmother passed the day before the nursing home was going to financially attach to her little house. My Grandmother had the strongest faith I’ve ever known, every minute of her life lived for Him. I’m sure your Momma was the same, & His plans for us are never wrong. Bless you, Scarlett.
My cousin sat with Mama and me two days before she died and she said, "oh, I hope she doesn't die on your birthday." I said that I didn't care. It heartbreaking and I feel like I'm in a fog, but my future birthdays, Lord willing, will not be sad or morose. God mercifully took her and kept her from suffering. Thank you.
Wingman68.....she passed away just this morning. No pain. In her sleep. Now with Christ and our father.
There is a long history of colon cancer in my family, and every time I have my yearly colonoscopy they find significant precancerous growths. I haven't been able to get a colonoscopy since the pandemic began and it needs to happen. I have the unfortunate issue of almost always having complications afterward - usually massive hemorrhaging that requires a blood transfusion and a stay in the hospital - sometimes in ICU.
I am a graduated from Pace University New York, United States. currently working on academic writing projects, for essay, dissertation etc.
If you're looking for perfection, don't look at me. Look past me to Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith.
