    Opera. Fast, secure, standards compliant.

I like firefox because of their add-ons - namely the web developer one, but I also really like the foxmarks that keeps all my bookmarks synchronized on all of my computers. It's also standards complaint.

My wife is my favorite browser. She browses all over town. But I will not go with her. I am not into browsing.

I have IE8 for sites that are coded for IE only (even though I have IE Tab in Firefox).

I tried Opera a ways back, but it tried to take over way too many things, so it was removed. I tried Safari when Apple released it for Windows, but it was sad. I tried Chrome, as well, but Google's addition of their updater process sealed that coffin. I like to call my own shots on my computer.

Trotter, how is that new IE8? I mainly use Firefox for almost everything but for a few sites I have to you IE. Right now I have IE7 installed and can't stand it. Trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle to install 8 or just stay with 7.

I mostly use Safari but also Firefox. I use Safari's Bookmark Exporter to keep my bookmarks synchronized between the two.

What little I have used it I haven't really noticed any difference. you can "customize" it by having it move the stop and refresh buttons to the left of the address bar, which is new to me. That's nothing like how I can customize Firefox (see my screen shot).

I do find IE8 slow, especially when you open a new tab from a link. It "freezes up" for a second or two, until the new tab starts loading up good. I thought this was because I am running Folding@Home in the background, but it does it regardless of whether it is running or not.

IE8 also uses a lot of memory. It opens a new iexplorer.exe instance for each tab (that I have noticed), with each tab eating up more RAM. I have Firefox set to use very little RAM for the most part, and use Firefox Ultimate Optimizer to whittle it down even more. If anyone is interested in using FUO, I uploaded it to RapidShare. Here's alink to it.
