haha. wow.
this again eh.
so long ago since that time i started this kind of debate up. =P
------------------
music cannot ever be christian or non-christian. moral or immoral.
there's no proof that it could be either or.
i think most agree with that.
rock? rap? folk? electronica? techno?
personally - i learned to stay closer to God and praise Him more when i was listening to LeCrae (for example:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCdSWc6BBTQ)
now - i know that's not worship music - and i wouldn't play that in church even.
but i learn more from listening to christian rap than listening to hymns. even alot of preachers out there.
now - personally (which is the fact of the matter - it's all personal preference)
i get into a more worship mindset just from the music itself.
not the lyrics.
i dont listen to the lyrics first. i hear the music.
you could say i judge the book by the cover - or the music by the note.
i do watch the lyrics though. don't get me wrong.
in the end. music is all personal preference. which shouldn't matter.
the lyrics though - that's what you gotta worry about.
this has probably been said over the last 25 pages. haha.
but - all i really wanted to add - was this:
(Fighting Temptations clip) - the ending is the best - always gets a laugh out of me =P

God bless you all.
may the rap, rock and trip-hop given by christians tell a life-song that'll make you think.
peace.
