Obama Falsely Claims There Are 47 Million Uninsured Americans

You must be living under a rock or something.

Perhaps you have been on vacation on the moon.

Which of those categories are you questioning?

That illegal aliens probably don't have health insurance? But we know that they are included in the census numbers.

That some working people without insurance could afford to buy insurance but elect not to?

That some of the uninsured poor could sign up for an existing government program?

Get back with me on this when you have decided to engage the critical thinking part of your mind.

You specifically referred to Census Bureau data to support your lies. I posted census data which proves you are wrong. Do you ever give up even when you are obviously not telling the truth? Why do you persist in your false claim when I have proved it to be wrong?

Obama and his acolytes can't seem to understand the difference between "people" used by the census bureau and "American" used by Obama.

The difference makes Obama a liar.

And they are ignoring the op with all the pertinent info.

Instead they confirmed him to be a liar.

Prove your comment or we will have to believe you simply made it up in your hatred for Obama. What is your link to prove your point?

To say that there are 45 million uninsured people with the borders of the US is correct. To say that there is 45 million "Americans" uninsured is incorrect. Not everyone within the borders of this country are Americans. And not all Americans that are currently uninsured are so as a result of not enough resources to get coverage on their own.

From the op

Among the uninsured in the United States, the Census Bureau said, there were also 9.1 million people making more than $75,000 per year who did not choose to purchase health insurance.

The numbers included by the census are all inclusive and involve illegal criminal aliens from Mexico and other places. To include these numbers is to simply inflate the issue in order to create a false crisis.

The count also includes those who are legal but are in the US to work temporarily. This is another misleading statistic.

From the op

The Census report released in 2005, said there were 45.82 million uninsured people in the United States in 2004 of which 9.54 million were foreigners. This means that the number of uninsured Americans declined from 36.28 to 35.92 between 2004 and 2007.

There are millions of "Americans" who are legitimately uninsured because of not enough resources. But that number is not what is being touted. Not everyone who is within the borders of the US is the responsibility of the taxpayer to provide insurance.

For any confirmation of this go to the op and read all the given information.

Show me a link to this information.

The link is in the OP and I have copied it here for you.

http://www.cnsnews.com/Public/Content/article.aspx?RsrcID=51443

Here is the quotation from Obama included in the article found at that link.

“This is not just about the 47 million Americans who have no health insurance,” Obama said in a prepared statement at the start of his Wednesday night press conference."

Here is the link to the Census Report for 2007.

http://www.census.gov/prod/2008pubs/p60-235.pdf

And here is a quotation from that report that states that non-citizens are included in the numbers.

"Of all households, 86.6 percent were native-born households, 6.4 percent were households with foreignborn householders who were naturalized citizens,
and 7.0 percent were noncitizen households.'

Is this proof sufficient enough for you?

They soon will be; no one is going to be deported. Just more votes for President Obama in 2012!

I don't care what you believe one way or the other.

The links to prove it are already in this thread .

Read them or continue in ignorance. It makes no difference to me.

At least you are honest about liberal intentions but no one has ever indicated anyone should be deported outside of criminal actions. Cut off the money and they go home no deportation necessary.

So are you saying that if there was a chance they would vote republican you would support their deportation ?

You are right in that this is the best way to stop the illegals from coming to the U.S. The problem is that both parties really support illegals being in America. In a nut shell, the democrats want voters and the republican (business owners) want cheap labor. So, in the end, these people aren't going anywhere.

In recent reports the influx into the US has dropped dramatically and the number currently living in the US has dropped in half as a result of this recession.

How so. The FACTS show that there are indeed about 48M Americans without health insurance. How do you read this otherwise?

Wrong and the census does not show 48 million Americans. It does show 48 million people but nothing indicates them all to be Americans. Add to that how many of them simply choose to not have insurance? Read the op or do not further comment.

Does the data show that all the people are not Americans? Prove you point please.

What source can you find that says they simply chose not to have insurance?
