So where did you go for your honeymoon
(if you are past your first marriage - just mention your last one)

Mrs Salty and I visited Washington DC
We saw Gen Lees home, Arlington National Cemetery, the Smithsonian museum, the Veterans memorials, Lincoln Memorial among other landmarks

PS, in case you forgot, I would not recommend asking your wife :BangHead:

Brevard, NC, right in the Blue Ridge Parkway. Made a day trip over to Ashville to see the Biltmore Estate.

    Gulf Shores, AL.

Of course, that was before a major hurricane wreaked much devastation to the area.

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. At that time (almost 36 years ago) we stayed in a nice hotel (North Shore Hotel) which has since been rebuilt into "The Coeur d'Alene", a verrrrry posh hotel! We went there a couple of years ago with some friends (for their anniversary) and ate at Beverly's. 36 years ago, that was the top of the hotel, but now it is only about half-way up. Prices? The four of us ate a modestly priced meal for only $200-plus!

If you are ever out Spokane way, check it out! Only about 30 miles away.

We had less then $50 when we got married and we spent the night as the wigwam motel
http://www.wigwamvillage.com/ , I noticed the rates now for the dayes we stayed is now $50. we paid $7.50 off season back in 1980.
Our $50. iincluded our blood tests, marriage license and we ate at the Dairy Queen, one of the few places to eat here then.

My wife and I honeymooned on Lido Beach in FL. Great beach and terrific facilities in a hotel that razed to make room for condos.

Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We visited the smokies again this spring and I couldn't believe how many more "attractions" and motels are there now.

We chose the date we wanted to be married on but didn't check what day of the week it fell on, which turned out to be a Monday. I left work at dinner on that monday, we were married that evening, and I was back at work at dinner on Tuesday... no honeymoon.
