Obama and Family "LEAVE" for Yet Another Vacation

Obama is doing to the country what he did when he was a Senator: He is traveling all around the country and the world, while he leaves the running of the nation up to his staff and his appointed czars.

Any employee that spends that much time on the road would be fired. So when will the American people get fed up and push the House and Senate to IMPEACH this "gold-bricking" loafer for promoting his own agenda and living off the money our taxes pay him with for a job he is NOT doing???

He is setting a bad precedent for the world to observe. He has yet to work a full 40 hour week [so-to-speak], as I know the president doesn't work a standard 40 hour week, or punch a time clock. Still, he has yet to give us the kind of effort that a nation in serious financial trouble needs.

Furthermore, every time he leaves on Airforce One it costs the tax payers no less than $150,000.00, not to mention transporting his cars, and staff and local police protection.

Like they say in the Bronx: "Toss the 'bum' out!"

He's Trying to Break That Record?

The way he's going, he'll break an 8 year record in less than a year in office. That is a lofty goal on his account:thumbs:

487 Days at Camp David for Bush

George W. Bush is today making his final visit to Camp David as president.

He will likely miss the place: According to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, today's trip marks Mr. Bush's 149th visit to the presidential retreat. The planned three-day stay, during which the president is being joined by family and former and current aides, will bring his total time spent at Camp David to all or part of 487 days.

Yes, that's 487 days. And Camp David is not even where the president has spent the most time when not at the White House: Knoller reports that Mr. Bush has made 77 visits to his ranch in Crawford during his presidency, and spent all or part of 490 days there.

That's a total of 977 days vacation in 8 years for GW or over 122 vacation days/year. This may be a record of incompetence that will never be broken.

Which is why it is so funny to see RD2 complain about Obama getting a week off after 7 months on the job.

I would suggest that he stay on vacation since he does nothing on the job and he either does not or cannot control the radical leftists within his own administration like Eric Holder who should be in jail for some of his offenses.

I'm not an Obama fan. But I think it's silly to complain about a POTUS taking some down time, whether it's Obama, Bush, or any POTUS prior.

He has yet to reach Bush's "vacation" time.
a few months compared to 8 years, humm, not a lot of comparison. Now go back and show haw many days of vacation bush did in the same amoutn of time the first few months in the white house. thats would a fair comparison.

Hate to break this to you , but Camp David is a secure government installation, not a "vacation" site.

In fact, your conclusion may be a record of flawed reasoning that will never be broken.

Naval Support Facility Thurmont (Popularly known as "Camp David") is hardly a "Vacation resort."

It is used as an alternate White House, and has been since 1942.

I agree.

Or...if you criticize all of them equally, then at least you're consistent.

Anyone think he turns off his cell phone? A US president can never "vacate" his job for even a day. Most people with corporate responsibilities are in constant communications with their people.
